  • Today we visited the WV Bigfoot Festival in Sutton, WV. We also checked out the Flatwoods Monster Museum. Later, at 8:11 in the video, we started metal detecting a few new permission sites. Join us on today's epic adventure! It was a great day!
    We are not officially associated with Turtleman. We only met him at the festival and bought an autograph. The intro is a friendly, verbally agreed, greeting and does not reflect association or endorsement to either party.

    Congratulations Chad on finding that IH, I've only seen one and that's yours lol. Mystery item # 1, is an antique dog whistle! The end that looks like a hexagon nut, is threaded inside which holds a piece that twists into it. It hooks to a necklace, for carrying! Love those pennies and that old lid. You guys stay safe in that heat, wet you a rag to put around your neck or on your head. Drink lots of water, not pop! God Bless you all, (Glen). thx. for your work and sharing!

      Thank you Glen! Happy to see you comment again. That is a great idea about the rags. I used to do that in the middle east in 120⁰ heat, makes a huge different putting a cold wet chamois on the neck. Definitely water, no pop.

    That was fun seeing the festival. Could mystery item #1 be the handle for a shaving razor? The presto jar lid brought back memories. My grandmother had canning jars that used lids like that. Thanks for taking us along !

      It was a really good festival. I usually don't like going to big public events, but it was actually very interesting. There were also book authors there and paranormal/cryptid investigators and the like. I bought a lot of books. I believe ogham hunter said it was a dog whistle, the google search shows very similar. Chad has the item he may be able to check better. Thanks for watching! Always great seeing you comment Jeff

    Man I bet that was a fun experience meeting the turtle man. Sounds like he is the same that they portray him in tv. Definitely a great time for sure. Glad to see you guys were able to get out afterwards. Great saves.

      Super fun. Come on up next year! He is definitely the same. Very friendly and open. It was a scorcher outside in the woods though!

    Greeting from Chesapeake, West Virginia. I watch Quarter Hoarder and The Hoover Boys. Been watching them for years. I also watch gold prospecting videos from Canada (Dan Hurd) and the guy who prospects the Kanawha river.👍😃

      Greetings! We watch them as well. I try to make some videos as interesting as Green Mountain Metal Detecting when I can. His videos are hard to stop watching. We have plans for prospecting at some point. I have a lot of documentary videos planned for the future. We hope all is well and welcome to the channel!

    Another cool video. That one unknown item could be a razor handle.

      I can see that too. Chad has the item he may know better. Glen said it may be an antique dog whistle. Looks pretty close.

      Me too. You can tell they have kept up the historical restorations in Sutton. Very clean town as well. I do think it is cool that they try to drive the tourism, not only with the local lake and beach, but with Flatwoods Monster and Bigfoot stuff everywhere 😅 museums, chairs, posters, etc.

    Did you ever hear of the Braxton County monster? My grandmother kept scrapbooks and the paper had an image of the monster. It's head was shaped like a spade. Terrified me just looking at the pic. Ask The Turtle Man.

    • @bluecreekdetectors
      @bluecreekdetectors  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep! That museum is dedicated to the story behind that monster. Braxton County Monster is same as Flatwoods Monster. Very cool museum, if you are ever in down town Sutton or the area, it is easy to find.

      @@bluecreekdetectors At first when The Braxton County Monster appeared ( ?,) it was written that there was a huge circle of dirt left on the ground as in UFO. Does that circle still exist or is it a myth?

    WHY IS’NT ERNIE ‘TurtleMan’ DOING HIS SEARCH FOR BIGFOOT ANYMORE ? If the numbers watching were down ? Those that know he’s the real deal in knowledge out there follow loyally , I know his story , Turtle gal gone ? You guys I’ve seen and that sparked my interest since a kid like TurtleMan when he has his encounter or his first ! In the Sierra Nevadas we have a log cabin and it’s wild out back for a long ways ! I know the flat wood monster to most crypt-ids in our country to a few I follow abroad , Like the small town vibe to living there , You miss it if you left or your town grew !!! Greed watch out for! WISH YA TWO ASKED OR DO YOU KNOW IF Turtle 🐢 Man will be back in the saddle on his quest for Bigfoot ! Kentucky has many cryptid creatures too ! The inter dimensional side of Sasquatch and other entities is really true !! I CAN TELL YOU SOMETHING THAT I CAN PROVE ANYTIME !!! But it would be hard in this format not knowing that I’am honest and sincere in what I say ! There’s a thin veil that when these creatures or whatever they really are cloak you can’t see them but they are there . Sounds crazy as it gets right ? If it’s not what’s your perspective ? Hypothetically? It floored me ! The way I can see these in videos like yours if your out in a area that is where they could be resident or migratory ones based on food , Quality water like spring they prefer , More than just taste ! It was explained to me and I didn’t think I would ever talk of it so ? Back to finish the video ! Kevin .

      We aren't close to the turtleman, so we can't really answer. I will post a video of my own story some time soon, i experienced tree knocking before i knew it was a thing. We are in the deep woods very often but rarely see anything out of the ordinary. I hope all is well Kevin, thank you for watching!
