My personal suggestion for a review to revisit is your Gossamer by Passion Pit review. i dont think you can rap “too much” about any subject; you have to remember that the topics of drugs/girls/guns/etc were such as big part of Juice’s life. But i do agree with your sentiment, in the fact that Juice had a small perspective on the effects of drug use / gun violence / toxic relationships; he didnt get to experience these effects till it was too late. And if he had more perspective on the topics he would be able to communicate more meaningful messages through rap. his perspective of drugs/violence/girls was an insight into his mindset, and it was a shame to see him pass in the way he did, still lost and caught up in the thrill of it all. Theres often a lot of subtle sounds to explore with music. With a podcast as long as you're hearing their voice well enough to understand them, you're getting the full experience
Rock music has been high in certain parts of my life and states of the genre on my genre preference ranking. It is sad to say but the current state has not gotten me excited to the point I don't anticipate or seek out new rock music. It's to the point that even Kendrick dabbling in the genre does not intrigue me. That said if he can release something that challenges and inspires those currently operating in the genre and the people that one day will emerge to create within that space I believe it will be a great. For me he hasn't missed so I'm excited for what is coming. Rock is so general so I hope it's not just generic rock backing and cool guitars or just screaming on a track which we have seen from other artists that find themselves thinking or others think they are making rock. I'd like to see something inspired by the early greats of rock that drew from the blues, or even an art, psychedelic, and prog influence. Just thinking about what his voice would mesh well with.

Again it becomes click bait when you're being hyperbolic and stretching what's actually going to happen on the video or you just flat out lie about what's going to be in the video.

Rock music has been high in certain parts of my life and states of the genre on my genre preference ranking. It is sad to say but the current state has not gotten me excited to the point I don't anticipate or seek out new rock music. It's to the point that even Kendrick dabbling in the genre does not intrigue me. That said if he can release something that challenges and inspires those currently operating in the genre and the people that one day will emerge to create within that space I believe it will be a great. For me he hasn't missed so I'm excited for what is coming. Rock is so general so I hope it's not just generic rock backing and cool guitars or just screaming on a track which we have seen from other artists that find themselves thinking or others think they are making rock. I'd like to see something inspired by the early greats of rock that drew from the blues, or even an art, psychedelic, and prog influence. Just thinking about what his voice would mesh well with.
