Děkujeme za nádherné orchestrální zvuky z Dvořákova rodného českého orchestru. Zvuk České filharmonie pod Neumannem vyjadřuje tradiční zvuky Smetany a Dvořáka. Zní to, jako by se hrálo před 30 lety, ale vypadá to jako nádherný plamen i v 21. století. Děkujeme za nahrání na TH-cam.

Fanfare from opera "Libuše" composed by B. Smetana. It is also official fanfare of the president of Czech republic. So when V. Havel (then president of the Czech Republic) came in, they played this fanfare to welcome him officially.
Thougt I was in a different wold when the first note were not what I expected, silly me...did not realize some kind of fanfare was as some kind of potensate had arrived, probably the PM or such. Then the musica started.......glorious
I love this piece. My favorite of all Dvoraks' work. It is unfortunate that the audio in this video is not up to the task of bringing the music to our ears, and it certainly does not do justice to the performance. There appears to be a kind of tinny echo when the strings are playing and the whole orchestra gets drowned in a muddle, as if the recording saturates. The technology is here that would allow full fidelity of this music. Hopefully there is a video recording of this masterpiece that uses such audio technology. Very disappointing.

It's hard to believe that there were no women in this orchestra as recently as 1993.
statistically young kids and women are less likely to have the intellectual and emotional depth for this.
