Baby Elephant Bull, Phabeni Polishes Off His Goat Milk Bottle

Catch up with Phabeni at the orphanage as he arrives back from a morning walk with his herd. Surrogate mother Setombe and allomother Lundi drop off the little bull and then rejoin the other elephants in the bush. Phabeni is looked after by carer Khensani and his sheep pals, Lammie and Spotty. He sniffs out his milk and rushes over to Reply. What a beautiful sight to see the calf finishing his milk bottle. He does currently leave one bottle a day but drinks the rest, and is slowly putting on kilograms here and there. We will share a weight update soon!
