    I bought this model for cleaning my car but also around the house. Have had it for one day and so far I like it. The pressurized steam shooting thru the attachments can be a bit loud. You might want to wear ear plugs or jam out with ear buds while cleaning. That aside - this is a great video!

    I just ordered one on Amazon. Your video really makes me excited! I not only want it for my car, but I went with the big steamer to clean inside the house. The windows, floors, appliances, especially the stove and fridge, my shower and bathroom, everything is getting cleaned! Oh, I'm thinking of setting up a DI system with a cheap aquarium reverse osmosis DI four stage system that makes 50 gallons a day of 0% TDS water which can be used in the steam cleaner and the pressure washer. Guess I will use distilled water until I get that setup.
    edit: Another source of clean water I discovered is my local market has a drinking water dispenser machine at the entrance that fills up 5-gallon jugs you can buy in the store. The kiosk says it uses a reverse osmosis process that should remove all the nasties out of the water, and the best part it's $2 per gallon or 5 gallons. I will have to re-check on the price per gallon, but if it's $2 for 5 gallons, then it could even be used as a spotless rinse with the pressure washer using a syphon hose attachment into the jug from the pressure washer.

    • @archangelauto
      @archangelauto  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depending on which one you have (1385 or 1375) you might be overfilling. The 75 only takes 48oz and the 85 takes 64oz. They come with little plastic cups to be able to measure how much water you are putting in it. If you lost it you can just measure out that much distilled water with a measuring cup.

      This machine isn’t working for rugs? I want to steam under my bed and rug floor. It doesn’t glide over the rug. Is there a attachment for this?

    • @statusquoreject
      @statusquoreject 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @johnyortiz8774 the dupray doesn't have a higher steam temp. They are faking their numbers and listing the temp peak temp inside the boiler and not what comes out of the nozzle. I've tested both machines and neither actually getting hot enough steam out of the nozzle to truly be considered as "sanitized." If you want sanitized level of heat you will have to spend $1,000+ for pro models. These are all consumer grade streamers and all the temperatute numbers they claim are exaggerated.

      @@rickzabala6020 A steamer is what I consider a moderate solution to cleaning carpet. It works in a lot of cases for medium or heavily soiled carpets or even a pretreat for a non-heated carpet extractors. However, you can clean very well with just a carpet cleaning solution, a brush and a microfiber towel. Just vacuum the area, spray your solution and agitate it with your brush. Then simply wipe up with the microfiber towel. You will be surprised on how well this works. I wouldn't recommend doing the whole car this way as it would take a lot of time and elbow grease but, it will work for spots. Hope this helps.

      Turns out it actually was paint on there. The steamer can do a lot but also has its limitations.
