      You're full of bs. I'm willing to bet that you can't even see how the church turns young people away; Especially boys and men.
      Where was the church when the plague of broken homes truly broke out? When it spread across the Western world and beyond? They don't even care about what happens to children from broken homes. It can get pretty bad, but I can't say more about it, because my comment will get removed. Same for other subjects.
      Do you know why? It's because we live in a world where it's alright to create monsters, but not to be one. People/organizations capitalize on this. The church is no different.
      No. Everyone is on their own. And it doesn't matter what kind of person you are, because nature/society formed you so you can be a consequence; For good or ill.

The Father was so calm, emotionally compassionate to my wounds and as soon as I left, I felt truly embraced by a man’s love, something I’ve been craving for since my childhood. Will head to confession in a few minutes. You are healing my inner child that craved connection with a real man but never got it due to an emotionally unavailable father. God bless you, Father Moses. Sorry for the late reply guys, have been wrapped up at work, unfortunately.
      The service was good, very different to the church I had been brought up in, but it felt more real and more what I'd imagined real christianity would be. Unfortunately, the orthodox church in my town only has a divine liturgy once a month. The father there also serves London and a couple of other places, so it was only a small service with only a few people in a small building. I felt a little out of place at times. But it was still a great eye opener. I will be attending a couple of other Orthodox churches in neighbouring towns and cities so I can get to talk to more people and attend more events that will grow my knowledge. I joined the local what's app group and are some very helpful people on there too. It was just the start of the journey, but overall, it was a great start and has sparked my interest even further. Of course, I'm still having my daily battles and vices trying to hold me back, but I'll get there :) I'm still watching every video Father Moses puts out!

    I used to pray with worship music and after months of everyday praying doing that I started praying without music because I found annoying connect with God with music, drums, guitars and instruments. I started talking to the spirit and thinking in my heavenly father not even saying words. Doing that I found how to connect with God so easily, it is like a find a radio frequency you need to tune to the radio station and it takes practice. There is some moments when I just worship Him but normally I just want to hangout with Jesus and doing in silence is so masculine and genuinely in my opinion. I found more pleaser in the secret place than in a church worship set up.

      @osbellgarcia7065 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @MichaelBrianInc I mean if you whisper and you are connecting it with God is still good. As a child of God prayer is a connection and conversation with God. The more important thing if you are focus on Him, forgetting your situation and your surroundings and being present with God, once you get there nothing matter, just that moment and you can experience his love, peace, joy and mercy. I'm getting more confident on talking to Him, I tell him my worries, my thoughts , and put my burdens on Him before to get to that point, I'm trying to be honest and after that I thanks for everything, I pray for my friends, my family, my church and my country, Jesus told us to ask for things. And after that I recognised Him as my Lord and my King and invite him to be with me. That is what works for me. But my main point is allow silence or something to make your focus on Him.

She said she is feeling that God wants her to be single and she told me how good of a man I am and I would be great for the right girl. I took it well and I personally have never had an issue being told information that I don’t find to be the best. It still kinda hurt because I feel that she was the type of girl I could be with and God has the right one around the corner elsewhere.
    Nonetheless, her and I spoke every day for hours and maybe that is what I need to do in the future is just be more silent. I don’t believe talking was the problem, but I believe that I could’ve been better for myself and I’ve been more quiet and not as talkative.

      Hey Jay, I would definitely recommend regular church attendance and going to community groups with your church. You're working on money with the job and MBA, but you could be working on walking with God and his people. Make time outside of Sunday to be in person and meaningfully there with God and his people. It is difficult, and you'll be challenged, but it's very important. I recommend "The Sacred Us" by Pastor Justin Kendrick, very important in how I've been viewing relationships and life with God.
      TL:DR It's one thing to research being a man, and try to be with God, but it's another to do it among the people of God. Get out there.

    Im a very loving man. And that comes with a lot of forgiveness, understanding, wisdom, tolerance and mercy. This was all before I got to know the Bible. By all means, I’m not anything close to god or Jesus, but this is who I am. Nobody understands me at all or why I do the things that I do. Constantly misunderstood, judged, all these crap that I don’t want to dwindle in. I just started reading the Bible a week ago. I don’t go to church or anything, just decided to read it because I felt really alone in this world. Before I read the Bible, I search for one person who was like me, who could understand me and my ways. No one came close, not even my family. For a long time I thought maybe I was the problem, that maybe loving others as I loved myself was delusional because I live amongst people who don’t love or care about anyone but themselves (including my family) or they lack the vulnerability to be love. No one had the love that I had, to love others without condition and to love them because they are still beautiful children of god despite all of their shortcomings. I dislike how everyone is so quick to judge…, loveless and prideful in their self righteousness. How I can just see in their eyes that they deem themselves better than someone else and look down upon. I’ve never been a man who thought I was better than anyone, whether rich or poor, sinful or righteous. All I knew was love in all of its meaning that was gifted to me since birth. and so, I felt really alone by the ways of my heart. So I picked up the Bible and began to read. There I found, the one person who I searched for all my life, who understood me as if he lived in my shoes, it was Jesus. The love that he had for all of man kind, to die by the cross for our sins. He loved others as I did with my heart, he hurt how I hurt when they didn’t understand, he loved the outcast and the different as I did because they are still children of god and every single one is special to me and him. But yet his love is greater than anyone I’ve ever known. He was the one person I longed searched for, I just didn’t know it wouldn’t be a living person, but a holy loving god.

    67 year old male here.
    Self discipline. Mental. ...not kick boxing or gym. They're fine, but dont put all your energy into that.
    Build a career for yourself. It won't be easy and the work wont always be easy. But it brings great rewards into your life.
    Lastly, stay with the standards of the church. If you don't, you'll belong to everyone.

    Grew up without an earthly father, Father Moses has helped me out so much, I will continue to struggle and become a father that I wish I had.
