I started at 13 too man, I’m 19 now and business has never been better. I started with jeans and sewing but I’m now getting a lot of demands for hoodies and shirts so that’s what brings me here. Some tips I’d give would be stay motivated, don’t listen to anyone doubting you. Try and come up with a theme and something that makes your brand unique!
I have had my Cricut maker for 3 years..I’m finally ready to tackle this intimidating monster! Thank God for you! This is the Best and most understandable vid I have come across..❤
Same here. My daughter is really good at it, but she lives in a different town than I do and I’m all alone on this project. I have not even tried one thing. This is a great video.
I am watching your Cricut video for the first time. As a beginner, I am excited and your video showed to be easy to listen, observe, and learn. Thank you for sharing.

So helpful! Especially with the new settings I love this. Maybe if you could do a video where you go back and edit the project so we could see how that would work? I know I'd like it :) thanks for this! ♡
Do you get the program with the cricut to make the images please? I’m terrible with the whole photoshop and layers thing and wouldn’t have a clue where to start 😅
Thank You Kayla for your beautiful & clear instructions. Watched a few videos but a lot out of your video & managed to do my 1st T-Shirt. 😀 Thank You, Thank You, Thank You 👍👍👍
Great tutorial. So easy to follow and understand. Thanks!!! I also love the Bella Canvas shirts, but our Michaels no longer sells the long sleeved ones, only short sleeved.
I recently got a cricut cutter and I can’t figure out how to make thin designs because I have a design where the word or thick but the design with it is thin line I try with my cricut cutter but the whole design came out thick ?and help
Sorry for the late response. For this you don't need transfer paper. The HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) I'm using to make the shirt already comes with a sheet attached to it. It's called a carrier sheet.
Here is the updated how to layer multiple colors of HTV on a shirt video: th-cam.com/video/9QW4IoOOOiY/w-d-xo.html
Hi! I clicked the link to sign up for your newsletter but I never got my freebies (the cheat sheets). How do I get those?

Thank you so much, this is a great video explaining for first timers! I just bought the machine and I’m so excited to do it for my business! ❤❤❤
Just bought a machine! Great tutorial! I'm excited to get started
What about washing the shirt? After the vinyl is on, how should you wash it?
I have found that pressure is necessary with this method of transfer…which I always forget!! Thank you for another great video!! ❤
Yes!! I do too!! It really makes a big difference.
I have one question what is a final that you said at the end with the shirt that had to be cold like what do you mean by that?
How much do the raw materials cost? Shirts, transfer paper, etc?
How well does the image hold up when washing.
Can I use the circut machine and then use a y shirt heat press? Or will it come out differently?
I really love your videos, you really do a great job at teaching and are easy to follow along with, thank you for sharing your talent!
i just started my online hoodie shop and i ordered this!!! can't wait for it to come in the mail!!!!!!
Hi Kayla, where do you like to order your blank shirts? Thank you for all of your helpful tutorials and tips!
So you have to have a laptop or a computer to have a cricket and make shirts? I was hoping I could just use the heat press to start out because it’s cheaper.
Hi! You would need the Cricut machine, but you don't need a computer or laptop. You can access Cricut Design Space on your phone.
Or an Ipad
Great video! I am still a beginner and appreciate your helpful instructions. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent and easy to follow tutorial. Thanks!!
Love your tutorial. Do you prefer teflon sheets or butcher paper? Thanks.
So helpful! Especially with the new settings I love this. Maybe if you could do a video where you go back and edit the project so we could see how that would work? I know I'd like it :) thanks for this! ♡
I’m so glad! Yes! I can go back and edit it when I make the layering vinyl video. 🤍

Love the video! What size heat press was used here?
I need help , how do I download that program on my computer. Mine looks different ? Please help

So you have to purchase the $100 easy press in addition to the explore 3?
is there an alternative to the heat press like an iron or not really?
You can use an iron. The vinyl probably won't hold up as long on the shirt but it will work especially if you are just starting out.
When do you apply the heat transfer paper?
Can you use a regular iron?
Do you get the program with the cricut to make the images please? I’m terrible with the whole photoshop and layers thing and wouldn’t have a clue where to start 😅
Which cricut machine are you using in this video the cricut maker 3? :)
What size heat press did you use?
