The (BKF) Black Karate Federation held workouts in Harvard Park and every other park in the late 60's early 70's. I learned how to box from Michael Stewart at 78 and Hoover Gym in 1971. Watched Ken Norton spar there. OG Cutes, opens up my own memories of growing up in Los Angeles. A'se Namaste

Love the vids bro! I lived in south central from 1975-1991 before my family moved back to Louisiana. I was 15 or 16 when we left. Been in Louisiana ever since. I also went to Horace Mann JR High from 89-91. Your vids keep me connected to my childhood in south central. Love the way you guys are providing history on the gang culture. I didn’t bang but was very familiar with gang culture out there.
