    Hold up, I just researched the ship Stadacona, and it was made in 1952. And also it was renamed the name Stadacona in 1960s.

      You are correct. This looks like 60's footage, not 40's.

      There were two Stadacona's. One was built in 1909 and would be scrapped in 1972. The second one was in fact built in 1952, but it was originally named the Thunder Bay. it wasn't named Standaconda until 1969 and was scrapped in 1993.

      Also the one built in 1952 was also painted black and white, not red and white like the one shown here.
