I know what it is to have others read your journal, I was so injured by the violation as a teen I quite the practice altogether. I do journal now a bit, but you are inspiring me to pick up what I lost and start again.

I’m using a digital witchy journal planner thing for iPad that I bought on Etsy that works in Zinnia or Goodnotes etc and it’s life changing. I’m really in the rhythm of doing daily pulls and following the moon cycles and wheel of the year and it’s so much easier to keep it private (southern US problems)

I have a terrible handwriting and would like to paste photos of my spreads, so I'm trying to find a digital one too. I have a hard time finding a digital one that will be a good fit for me. Can you please share which one you bought, so that I might have a look?

Leuchttrum 1917 A5 for life 🖤 I’ve been using this journal for years and it will always be my favorite. My morning card and journaling practice is so important in my life that I get up at insane times to get it into my day. I love hearing about your journaling practice and you have definitely inspired me to integrate a few of your techniques into my own practice ♥️

Thank you for giving permission to write for myself! I’ve been a journaler (is that a word? 😂) since I was 5. My parents used them to “catch” me in bad behavior (deeply religious parents that considered complaining a deep sin) so I have such fear writing my personal thoughts. I, too, have had other relationships that took advantage of this (peeking in my journals) as it is my own form of therapy as well. My word today was fearlessness and I wondered where I might still hold fear…it’s bedtime and I’m just now realizing it is here: Holding sacred space for myself and expecting to be respected when I journal my personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Much love to you for this gift!❤

Hey Raecine I totally agree with you on all of this..I've also found that I've been able to recognise that at certain times of the year ill start to go down hill a bit but because I've been journaling again for about 4 years I can see that the same pattern seems to be coming up so I'm more prepared for it now, I can literally spot the signs much easier because of what I written down over the years..there's so many benefits to journaling 100% ❤️

    Great video. Thanks.
I created a spiral journal with blank pages a few years ago and now using it as a bullet journal. Each night, I write down what I want to accomplish the next day. Then on that day, I might write down the things that happened that day, draw a tarot/oracle card and make notes that I want to remember or keep track of. I enjoy using different color pens too. BTW: I’m also left handed. 🙂

Thank you for including writing challenges solutions, I'm a writing and bibliophile dyslectic person. And the way you just reminds that there are solutions. Just well makes me feel welcomed in a way that is a bit too rare.
I'm new to your channel today this is not the first video I've seen of yours, and it will definitely not be the last.

Okay, I did not expect this video to inspire me so much?! :D I'm one of those people that journals a lot for a season or so, and then I forget about it, and come back to it, and that's how it is over and over again lol... But you inspired me to start a new journal and I'll really try to stick to this habit now. I find journaling helps me sort my thoughts out, as I can definitely be an overthinker... Thank you!

Awesome video! I went to the website, and found a couple of them on sale for a great price. Ordered 3 journals, 2 hard cover, 1 softcover. I'm currently using a Rhodia softcover and I love the feel of the pages and how pens roll on them.
I like the idea of journals for specific decks. RIght now if nothing else, I journal a daily 3 card pull from one deck, and a daily 1 card pull from another deck. I use the same 2 decks all month, and switch them half way through the month. This is because I purchased so many decks last year and didn't really use many of them. So I assigned 2 decks each month this year. I plan to cull those that I am unable to shuffle or otherwise don't like, and it is keeping me on a disciplined daily practice at the same time. Of course I write in all kinds of other things, to do list, thoughts, notes from videos I'm watching, etc.. I always wanted to make a pretty journal with all the stickers and artwork, but have found I spent so much time with the art, I never wrote in them, or there wasn't enough room to write. So now have an art journal, and then the kind of journal you do. Thank you for your tips and tricks! Peace.

Love to hear that you also write everything in one book. In my opinion Life cannot be categorised in different journals. Everything belongs organically together. I am journaling for more than 50 years now. I started when I was ten years old. It's such an important part of my life. And now when my memory is not what it used to be. It's such a pleasure to reread my journals again

Thank you for this video. Since I've started my practice up again, three years ago, I have fallen in love with journaling. It has been one of the best things for my mental health, but also my spiritual journey. I have a journaling practice for both my morning and evening rituals, along with other journals. I think I have about seven journals (or grimoires) that I am working with currently. I use the same (for the most part) spreads for each full moon to see the growth and progression one year to another. I'm also very aesthetic with my journals, needing very specific paper, cover designs, etc (yay Taurus rising).

I’ve been afraid of others reading my journal and that has stopped me from doing it. I have thrown them away before.
I’ve recently started back up with a tarot journal but the goal is to journal about whatever no matter how good, bad or in between.

I totally relate to your regret. I threw out my journals from my late teens and early twenties because of not wanting to have anything from that time and I so wish I hadn't. Thanks for sharing your journaling space with us. It was very insightful! ❤️

    Oh hey, you're left handed!
That's why we're drawn to following the left-hand path of magic.
How do you find getting hold of left-handed pens? That can be a total drag

Not self editing is a real struggle for me. Also, journaling in 1st person is difficult to me. It feels so self-centered (which is the effing point!🙄), but i havent figured out a way that doesnt make me feel whiney and …unjustified maybe?… perhaps more practice is what is needed.
