So happy for Mdou and the band to get the recognition they deserve. Sold Out tours, jam sessions like this... I see great things for them ahead.

The guitar is a strange instrument . Everytime you think that all is said and done someone new comes along and plays like you never heard before . Mdou Moctar is the 21. century Jimi Hendrix !
And you can tell he's thankful every step of the way. Zero pretention about him.
Fun fact he told me after the woodstock show last year that he didn’t even know about jimi until about 2-3 years ago well after he started playing
