Just found your channel today. Love it! Hubby is from Middlesborough originally , we now live in Abu Dhabi. We were in Stockton in May while seeing his dad in Thornaby. It was certainly drier when we were there. We couldn’t stop laughing when you mentioned Beryl the miniature toy Poodle, we actually met her in Yarm with her mummy and daddy. My nana and pop lived in Thornaby. A few minutes from Stockton. Spent Easter, Summer and Christmas there. Happy memories. Unfortunately got a bad name later in years. Stockton market was brilliant. My home town, its a dump lol, the CAMC site gets really good reviewa though and the Talpore near the barrage is a lovely dog friendly pub, I have done the rat race 3 times around there, great fun 🙂 As for Parmos, Stickies on Prince Regent Street ( near Borges ) is a must, bloody lovely food in there 🙂 Shame we did nt know you were there, could of met up and shown around 🙂 Great video though, take care, Trev Debz and Tyler

I’m mystified at the reviews for that site. I’m sure the actual site is fine but FFS it’s only a few miles away from Port Clarence and Haverton Hill. Both are up there with the grimmest placeS in the UK.
The bonus of the bad weather is it kept the smackheads indoors.

Paul Daniels was born in Southbank Middlesbrough, not Stockton. I know it's only a short distance away but they are very seperate areas. Either way, they're both absolute dumps :P It was probably a good thing that it was pissing down, kept most of the riff raff indoors during your visit.

Whitewater is an excellent site, 10 min walk to Asda or a large Retail Park with restaurants. Dog friendly pub serving food 1 minute away. Tees Barrage 5 mins where you can often see seals. Lovely beach at Seaton, home of the famous Canoe Man TV Drama.
I’m so glad you had a parmo, but sadly you missed the best fish and chips in the world at The Almighty Cod. Hartlepool Marina is a fascinating place too
Stockton town centre looked glum on a rainy day, its equally glum on a nice day.

Great video Andy and Claire, shame about the weather but hey it was a bank holiday 😂 so it should be expected. Some cracking funny bits right through this one that made me laugh out loud. There is a raft of work going on in Stockton which when finished will be a great addition to the riverside around the castle gate area. Nice to see you had a little bit of nice weather at Seaton, it’s almost a forgotten sea side town but holds so many wonderful memories from when I was a lad. We visited there about 10 years ago, loved the site the area 😵.
We ventured into the town and encountered a fight and police 😮.
Never got into a pub too scared so headed back, it's a shame because it could be so nice.
As always loved your comedy twist on it all.

Weather has been terrible in the north east England lately it's lovely around the tees barrage but Stockton is now not like it use to be they suppose to be regenerating it. Sundays have always been quiet Wednesday and Saturday are market days not as many stalls as use to be. It use to be lovely. The Stockton riverside festival is usually good in August but don't know what it will be like this year. If you like out of the ordinary shows. I felt so sorry for your dogs in all the rain. Hope they dried out OK.

My sincere commiserations. Stockton and the area round it is grim in glorious weather and has been in decline for many years. I live nearby and it baffles me why the CAMC built a site here. Good job you didn’t walk further east down the river towards Newport Bridge and Middlesbrough, that’s really bad.
To anyone think of visiting this site my advice is DON’T. There’s nothing to see, nothing to do. Everywhere within walking/cycling distance of this site is horrible.

We walk him twice daily morning and afternoon what ever the weather, that's the beauty of living in the countryside & being Archie is a Working Cocker spaniel he's in & out of the streams & ditches always foraging for the pheasants. I'm currently in WSM having the electrical box changed out at the supplying dealership.

Wow, we real like White Water, it’s the first campsite I went to when we had the motorhome and we also went to it first with our campervan. It’s about 25 mins from us, I sometimes take Roxy for a walk from the barrage and over the Infinity bridge. If we had known you were there would have popped down and bought you a pint! (or a coffee or whatever!) 🍻
Knight Rider was great! The high street like so many used to be bustling, really sad what it’s become - in the 80’s/90’s the market was so busy.
Shame about the weather. I used to love fish and chips from Barnacles opposite the coffee shop you were in.
The Stockton Flyer is a bit different isn’t it! 😂. Those snack pack Ploughman’s Lunch are a bit different too! I got some from Makro (In Stockton ironically) on clearance - think they are new. Don’t even need to keep them in the fridge, great as emergency van snacks!
Haven’t been to Seaton Carew for a few years! Rachel walks Roxy at the Gare quite often!
Always disappointing when no dogs are allowed, seems to be in places distinctly dog friendly or not. Always find up the dales great.

So funny. Stockton, the best thing is the road out. They aren't a lover of visitors. They even built the barrage to stop the sea visiting 😂You missed fish and chips at Seaton and a walk in the Nuclear powered water where the dogs are banned along most of the best bit of the beach. Dont know how but you made the area look pretty good. Well done coz its pants and we head south to around Donny and HuMberside for a quick weekend getaway... ooops South Yorkshire we should have said 😂😂

Interesting fact , the big bridge with Roman numerals on , actually has bullet holes in it where it was strifed buy a German plane during the second world war ☺️ and Stockton on tees is definitely not a city lol , nearest one is Durham or Newcastle, why I managed 😂❤

Aw guys, wish we knew you were visiting Seaton Carew. The place we have called home for 40 years. Fun fact, the notorious canoe man came from Seaton. He faked his own death and conspired with his wife to claim money off his insurance. Got caught 😂. Also we are known for being “monkey hangers”. Old tale from the wars with the French when a ship ran aground and one of the crew had a pet monkey and the people of hartlepool hadn’t seen a monkey before and thought it was a spy so they hung it 🙈. Apparently 😉. The light house you saw in the distance is old hartlepool. Headland as we call it. Has the oldest Saxon church in the country. Lots of history. So glad you payed us a visit. Welcome ❤. Ah beautiful Hartlepool, I'm glad you did not walk around the depressing town center there. I spent so many unhappy holidays visiting family, longing for that long journey back to the wet weather in bonnie Scotland.
