I'm here after listening to Pearl Jam's dark matter. It feels good to know this guy whom is only 2 years older than me and I strangely share a birthday with, loves Pearl Jam and literally brought life back into that band. He has helped them Revitalize themselves and in my book is now a genius
I just heard this kid's name for the first time in a few years just right now. I had completely forgotten about him. but, a few years ago when I was a Hofner endorser, I got a call from the US rep for Hofner. they asked me if I can loan out one of my basses to a young session player. I ended up meeting with him within a day or so. but, I seem to recall him having a lot longer hair back then. but, I didn't realize how young he is...he's almost young enough to be MY kid - and I'm not yet 50!
Get ready people's. The guitar/ music revolution is in the oven. We're cooking up the greatest sounds since the 1960s 🎉😊. A little secret about the fundamental of our electric guitar sound is the fender twin.
Watt is my favorite new guitarist! After hearing him on Ordinary Man I started looking him up. He totally got me into some new artists that he has produced. The new Ozzy album is amazing! I can't wait to see what he does next!
Really hope he tells Mike McCready that Jeff Beck story when recording the new Pearl Jam record. McCready’s one-take improv solos need serious reigning in.
The crazy thing about that Les Paul/SG he is talking about in the beginning is that he’s saying there are two of that kind, and I’m pretty sure Tom Bukovac has the other one 😮
Marshall based his amp off a Bassman not a Twin. But I bet Keith loved it. Although I wish you got him to use the Ampegs and Boogies again. His best sound by a million miles. C'mon Exile then Some Girls? Then the live combo of both?
Uh pardon me but, this gentleman appears to exude an extraordinary level of enthusiasm akin to that of a fervent admirer rather than a seasoned producer. Is his intention perhaps to lay to rest the very essence of rock 'n' roll once and for all?
I'm surprised this guy gets booked to produce Ozzy and the Rolling Stones. His setup is outdated. Doesn't sound great, doesn't sound modern. I don't get it.

He pushed them to a new hidden level. Also kudos to Ed for talking the band into it and making that call.
LOVE the newest Ozzy and Iggy records he did!! Good to hear that sound still has some relevance
I'm a huge fan of this guy! he is incredibly talented and his passion for music really shows in every work he does!
I’m such a fan of this guy. I love his passion for music. Hopefully I can be as good as him one day
Where are you all fans have been when they toured with California Breed? Or when Andy tried to push his solo career.
@@cornucopia8591 speaking for myself, I didn't know about his artist career…I was speaking from a producer standpoint

"Hacnkey Diamonds" is the best Stones album in 30 years. So there's THAT.
I love it! Badass Get'm Get'm guitar straps!!

I’d like to play with Watt one day

LOLOLOLOL 🤣
This is great!
Loving the guitar
Nice one! Andrew Watt is the man! Suprised he uses some really basic cheap pedals.

I MAKE REEFFFS why does he say it like that 🤣🤣
Awesome video!
My pleasure Buddy!
Amazing 🤩
That Martin holy moly
SG stands for "Solid Guitar."
Shout out to Tym Guitars in Brisbane, Australia with the Big Mud pedal.
Oooo
Produce the Chili Peppers, please!
OH MY
Iggy Pops new album is just great, Andrew really knocked it out of the park.
舞庁ナイス~
Andrew saved RockNRoll!!
SG means "Solid Guitar" not "Standard Guitar"
Yup, he uses way too much compression when producing. This dude killed the new PJ record
😂😂😂😂
Lovely nails darling.
Unquestionably a great producer. Not impressed, though -- at all -- by his playing, his board or his sound.
Why is Pearl Jam using him to produce their new album? I guess they want their new album to be as terrible as Gigaton
How do you feel now?
@@mcnater the same
That's a annoying guitar sound 0:18
For a producer and “guitarist” he sure isn’t good at it
Oye porque le tocas la mano sin el permiso de alguien a Jin de BTS y todavía lastimaste a Jin porque tenía la mano mal déjalo empaz 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Me neither and he’s really not that great of player
then why aren’t u him
His trousers say it all.
He is there to enhance the artist and is obviouly quite popular amongst them. His client list is A list...
I think this is something we as listeners will never understand as these are on the producing have a different perspective of things
