2005+ Nissan Frontier Xterra brake upgrade

in this video we go over bolt on Brake upgrades you can do to your 2005+ nissan frontier xterra pathfinder.
I specifically left out master cylinder upgrades, the market for them seems not ironed out yet and it doesn’t seem needed. But there is at least one option out there for fitting a larger master cylinder on your frontier/xterra. Worth looking into if you are crazy.
Also this is not the end all be all brake upgrade video, this is more of a jumping off point to show you what can be done with a little money and elbow grease. There is more research to be had online that will paint a perfect braking picture.

Hey Andy, your log is definitely the best vk swap channel on yt. I own a frontier and an armada, which I bought to vk swap my frontier. Always thought to swap as much as possible from engine, differentials, brakes etc. Great content like always. 10/10

I’m running pathfinder LE brakes with 16 inch sv wheels. 1.5 inch wheel spacer and a little bit of material removal on the pathfinder caliper.

If Titan swapped up front would it make sense to do a Titan rear end swap to keep the lug pattern the same front and rear?

Hi Andy, great info. I just Vk swapped my Frontier, I still have my Vk Pathfinder donor. If I wanna upgrade the brakes on my frontier, I can use both the front and rear calipers and rotors off the pathfinder correct?

When looking up the part number for the frontier and pathfinder Calipers, they are the same part number, so just the rotors are different correct? So basically I can just install the bigger pathfinder rotors onto my frontier calipers?
