I've always put off making an intro as I just haven't got the slightest idea where I should start and I've always just gone straight into it with my content, but this really helps and breaks it down simple! I might have to give this a try in the next few weeks.
I got serious with my reaction channel about a little over three months ago. I am 4 subscribers away from hitting the big 7 0!! It has been a fun journey. Once you actually have consistently put out 30 decent videos, you start to look back and you then realize, “Wow, this is it. This is that so long waited process in which I am now making a reality. You could potentially blow up. So make the small moments last and communicate with EVERY PERSON who comments. At least as many as you have time for. Show the authenticity!!

I've been playing around with Adobe rush it's pretty awesome I have pro too I haven't tried, have you used those? I have the Adobe cloud for design school and have been working in photoshop, indesign and illustrator and want to utilize it the best I can are there any other programs you've used from it that are useful?

I made like 2 videos now and im trying to do a good intro but I think intro stem from being comfortable and experience because new youtubers or people who are new to content creation in general they can't shake that nervousness in their voice on camera as they're not completely comfortable yet but over time they would get extremely comfortable and get into the swing of it and add nuance but I don't think it's a bad thing as they show that they're normal people with a dream and a camera the very foundation youtube was built on before overproduction took over and people with money hired amazing editors

Ben, did you forget a step? What do we do after we're done making our intro segment? We want to reuse it in multiple videos and sometimes modify / update it, so how do we do that?
Agree! A lot of creators got rid of intros like that because it drives viewers away. Even channels like Think Media, Jeven Dovey, Peter McKinnon *ALL* got rid of their intro... I personally never had any intro, always thought it was a waste of time for my viewers

I know mine is a bit flashy but sometimes simple is best, start minimal and then add on, make sure the content is clear above anything else :)

For editing with Adobe premier is the way to go, tho I personally prefer final cut

I exported it and just drop it in to my videos. If you want to modify it you'll need to reopen that project, make adjustments and then export it again
An intro more than 2 seconds long makes me click off to another video

Agree! A lot of creators got rid of intros like that because it drives viewers away. Even channels like Think Media, Jeven Dovey, Peter McKinnon *ALL* got rid of their intro... I personally never had any intro, always thought it was a waste of time for my viewers
@@Mr_Web With Television they love long into but you can't fast forward - a longer intro works in some cases - take car expert.com john cardigans intro is a great example of a memorable intro
Man, I love the whole set up. The background the room the lighting the intro everything. How do I do all of this and look so polish like you?
Polish comes from lots of practice and editing around the mistakes haha
