I run the yetti 200 and yetti 500 for my car camping 1-3 day trips and works great together with the pannels. The 200 charges all my devices like phone, laptop, batteries, lights, and tablet, and the 500 runds my small fridge or electric blanket all night. Both are small and light weight. If i was staying upwards of 5 days or longer trips id get the 1000 yetti or 1500 They are solid power stations for sure.
I have a 500X and a 150 and have been really pleased with them. At some point I would like a 1500X but with a second battery setup on my GX470 I haven't really felt the need just yet. Great video with great information!!
Not going to lie, you had me on the hair dryer man lol. Very relevant info, thanks! I'm in the decision making process now between portable and dual batts for power.....or both.....it never ends!
I’m looking to run a 1500x in a custom van build. I don’t have huge power needs. Just small max air fan (on low) and occasional charging of devices and interior lights, and domestic fride. Is this a horrible idea?. Ugh!!
I wanted so badly for our 1500x to be the best, but after 3 months on the road it broke! This is our third yeti in 15 months. I’m starting to think they weren’t really made for travel. I even gave it foam padding on the bottom and tie down straps. Still took a shit 😭
The first one had wire wiring separating from the yeti expansion module that was the 1000, the 1400 had the charge controller go out, now the 1500x the AC outlet is gone. It’s been a crazy ride, I stay in more contact with goal zero than my family 😂😂😂 The devices worked awesome when we were posted up in a house, but as soon as we hit the road and we’re totally reliant on it that’s when we have issues.
Is the ac more efficient than the dc? I had my fridge plugged into the dc, but recently switched it to the ac. The display is showing a longer run time using the ac.
Am I the only idiot who paused the video cause I thought the sirens in the intro were outside my house lol. Rad video again cheers!
No, haha. When I was reviewing the edit, I did the same thing LOL

We love our 500x! Great video.
Thanks you guys!

Get the 1500X and the Yeti Link, and you won’t need a dual battery
I need that 500x! Another great vid!!
PS - 2000w is enough to run your *beard blow dryer. 🤙😉
Thanks dude!!!
HAHA - way more than enough!

NEVER. ENDS. 😂
Great setup. Love the organization, but I do miss the Prospector. Still my favorite. Great job.
You and me both! The PXL was such a great rig
I like your vids, but the outdoor-sound on the mic is a lil bit strange 🤔
Thanks Jo..we had a couple weeks of tech difficulties with those mics. Trial and error my friend ;) I appreciate you watching dude!

“Dometic”
Nope! Get their Yeti Link system and should work great
If you had to choose one?
1500X all the way!!
Can you charge an E-bike off of one of those?
Off the 1500X, no problem at all!!! Haven’t tried the 500, but should be fine. I believe those chargers only pull 150-200 watts
Are you shooting on s log 3?
I believe so, but Ill have to double check
@@FOTORNR I have the canon r6 and I know you have been shooting on Sony as of late but hot damn does the footage look amazing

Hmm thats odd man. I've traveled with both my older 1400 and this new one, with no issues. Did you contact GZ? What is breaking on it?

Hi, What are those auxiliary lights?
Which ones?
Actually, 4 light in and on the front bumper .
I got the awesome music stuck in my head
Ha! Some good tracks in there for sure!

Yes. Run the fridge on ac
I want it!
Let’s get you setup!!
This is a commercial and not a very good one.
They just came out with new lithium phosphate power stations. I wouldn't buy any of these older ones
AJ... why you showing me shit that makes me want to spend money? Come on man!
LOL! Sorry, not sorry?
Goal Zero is getting to be pretty dated at this point and they have always been WAY overpriced. Nope... Say "super" one more time. 🥴
Super.
