This is just something that screams "Look at me" as it sits in one place forever and a half before it gets destroyed.
That is sweet. Be cooler if it was a 440 or even a 340 which is what was in my first car. 70 duster with a 4 speed and 355 sure grip. Man that was a cool car. Traded it for a super charged 82 Mustang GT and that's where my love for fox body mustang's started.
I can't tell if it's an optical illusion or not but those blowers sure look like they're turning extremely slow. I know it's not supposed to be a dyno killer but damn.
When the chain drive breaks its going to cut the car in half that's probably why you never see a video of this car at full throttle I get it its more novelty and rare but man that's going to be a bad day

That's one of those builds you can look over for an hour and still not see everything that has been done to it. I have no idea how the driver can even see the road...but I guess that's not really its intended purpose. haha.

It is a Diesel and you can buy enough repro sheet metal to practically build a 68 Charger from scratch, so, not a lot to be mad at. Even if he started with a virgin car (he didn't) it's better off like this. That engine has blowers being fed by turbos that's why it looks like it does. Some like it. I'd like to see how does being thrashed through the Desert.
chain drive blowers..... sounds horrendous. and when it shut off did you see chain jump? That's good on bearings in blower. what a goof, he probably didn't know that the belt is what makes the boost noise on a blower.
I've always liked the show, be it I don't always like the direction that is taken. That said WTF they say a car is never to far gone and this charger was far from gone I could've never brought myself to do this to a 68 Charger. A 67 maybe but not a 68,69, or 70. Every since I was a kid this has been my favorite car (thanks Duke boys) but I've never been able to find one I could afford to buy and fix. Don't get mad just my taste, I could see this being done to a car that a lot of them are still around but just not a Charger.
