Hello. I am a recovering alcoholic and stumbled on to your channel. I am glad you got sober. I had a relapse about a month ago and had to detox. I have a recovery TH-cam channel as do some people who I have made friends with. I had to do two "I am back and sober" videos - which I didn't want to make. I try to watch as much sober content as I can. This channel looks pretty good.

Well done for stopping, yes I'd prefer to have a zero alcohol channel but I think it's maybe a bit alienating so I'm trying to be a bit more balanced but I would take sobriety over hanxiety every day!

OK, these are some good reminders, there’s no question that increasing your mental clarity and boosting your drive, comes with quitting. Yes, there are many ways to kick the habit, Steffon Barkload's latest is what worked for me, best shortcut I go’ogled that took days without withdrawal.

I like this story. what you said makes sense to me. I think you have a good take on drinking and smoking presently, try not to fall off.

I'm an ex-smoker, but I still vape...so technically that's still smoking as I am still addicted?
I also stopped drinking 10 years ago but have recently (in the past 2 years) allowed myself to drink again. I have realised that I really don't have an 'off' button with any addictive substance and I don't like how I feel when I drink anymore once I get past the first drink.
I totally understand what you were explaining about being able to see yourself now from all perspectives. I would call it a flash of insight. I really wish I could enjoy alcohol like 'normal' people!
    Tfs :)
