I just struggle to make many friends because of my introvert nature but I have few friends which are like backbone to me and always support me no matter what the situation is so I can totally relate with this video.. Thanks and love your videos 😘😘
This video is so wholesome. It made my heart feel good just to watch! I reached out to some friends I haven't talked to in a while....friendship is truly so important. Thanks for sharing your feelings and happenings. It's great to see.
Being an introvert, I sometimes almost feel like I don't need friends here in Switzerland because of whatsapp and being able to stay friends with my existing friends but this video reminds me that I miss hanging out physically and I have sort of "given up" having been to a couple of social events and have not really found someone that I could connect deeper with in terms of values etc.. Anyway, what I want to say is, thanks for the reminder and I hope I'll find friends like you here. :) Happy belated birthday Kelly! =) And I'm very happy to witness all that the future holds for you :)
Awwww, what a lovely vlog, and a story well told. This made me so happy to see. My son graduated in Japan several years ago, and I couldn't be there. I hope he felt, and still feels, supported by his friends in Japan the way you support your friends.
my eyes were brimming over with tears for Kel. Kelly that was so awesome you were there for Kel on his big day !! You are a true friend to your friends Have a lovely week ( Judy )
🎊Happy Birthday Kelly 🎂🎉🎉🎉 I love the way you narrates in your videos. Every words that you say touches my heart ❤️ I feel you. As a foreigner living here. For a long period of time. For me, it feels like Japan 🇯🇵 is my home. It’s nice that you have, a good support system with your friends. Friends that become your Family. Wishing you more success , happiness and abundant blessings. ❤️❤️❤️ ❤️love, Sweet Sherry ❤️

Beautiful video, so sweet and nice. What a lovely group of friends you have, so lucky! Thank you for sharing them and your life with us! Happy Birthday!! 💗💞
Kelly, you are such a great documentarian! Your content is always interesting, vibrant and hopeful. You've come a long way as an artist (never forget, you ARE an artist), I started following you after I saw you on Victor's, Gimeabreakman Channel! I love how your videos are set up: first you introduce the subject, then you give important tid bits of background info about the subject, interspersed with music, video while you're traveling for a meet up, with great narration throughout your video. Your background info of Kel, how you met him and how much you love him was beautiful, it made me cry. You always capture the essence of your subject and that's the mark of a great storyteller. I believe; if you decide to, you could one day become a great feature film director! You have all the tools to achieve this, If you decide to follow that path. When in front of the camera, you are never afraid to be your authentic self, you are truly a brave and talented woman. Also, please tell Kel that I am also a graduate of Temple University; however, I graduated from the Main Campus in Philadelphia many years ago. The main theme of this video was/is, Friendship. You book ended this theme: you opened with this and you closed with this. Your words about Friendship were perfect, "Not a certain number of friends, but a number of friends you can be certain of." What I am certain of; with the help and support of your husband, you are going to have a very bright future. Please, never stop making videos, you are great at it! Take Care. Much Love and Respect. Peace.
I had to share this with my friends because at the age that I am they have diminished so much but the ones I have left are very meaningful to me this made me cry
Happy Birthday Kelly!🎂🎈🌸 Not gonna lie, but I have been struggling lately with believing in myself, my dreams, future goals, etc. lately. A friend of mine, who recently moved to Japan (Sendai), messaged me out of the blue with a warning that Japan is "not all it's cracked up to be" and to "not put my eggs all in one basket". Long story short, she said she was worried about me because her co-worker was just like me, only to find out the Japan was not everything she hoped it'd be and is now very depressed... I felt worried and annoyed all at once. But your most recent videos have been incredibly inspiring to me-- almost like a sign. Lol. So thank you so much for making these videos!!! You really are inspiring me to keep pushing no matter what people tell me.
If you go to another country with a closed mind and a lot of expectations, of course you’ll be disappointed. But that is not you. Be open minded and remember that Japan is not like an anime 😆 (truly ppl come here actually thinking that) lol
@@KellyMorita Yeah, that's what I said! Everytime I meet people with that mindset of Japan being like an anime, it's a 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 and honestly, I don't really like anime heh heh come at me bro. Lol
Friends are important. You apparently have good friends and you are one to them. A lot of wisdom in your words and happiness in your images. Blessings.
I am so happy for you.. That man has a lot of love for you. You can just see the love in his eyes.. Can’t wait to see an apartment tour when you get moved in!!!!!!
Happy belated birthday Kelly, and congrats on graduating Kel! I'm still working on coming back to Tokyo next year to study abroad! It's been a long journey for me, but I can't wait to start the next chapter!
This video was so sweet and insightful ❤️❤️❤️ Both you and Kel are amazing, it was so good that you captured his graduation! Heather the unicorn lmao I love that phone case hahaha

Congratulations on graduating , you are an amazing friend supporting him in such a huge moment in his life . Oh and please tell him I so need one of those unicorn phone covers 💕💗
Definitely agree on the necessity of friendships in Japan! It’s pretty isolating otherwise. I currently go to Temple Uni but didn’t go to the graduation so it was nice to see at least part of it through your video 😂
Kelly mam happy birthday again...nd you know you are one of the good friend of your audience too because you taught a lot of things and the way of living abroad and peaceful...I am an Indian ,there is my aunt who lives in Michigan, USA they also do that as they far away from home .USA and Japan are ultimate countries who provides jobs to foriegners also....you have well know about India's unemployment but anyway there a lot of things I learnt from you ...if I come to Japan I wish to meet my one of the ideal youtuber😇

Kel is an awesome friend & person (so are you), and you're lucky to have each other!
I don’t have any friends...been like that most my life...not that I don’t know how to be a good friend, just that people I meet never stick around or have taken advantage of my kindness or, a couple instances, were narcissist/sociopaths. Doesn’t help that I have social anxiety too. Even with anxiety I try to overcome it and try to make connections...never easy with that little negative voice in the back of your head saying you aren’t good enough. Also...you know cathycat?!?! Mind blown lol
I find extremely difficult to make friends because I am extremely introverted and moved a lot in the last 5 years. Besides I have always been fine alone. Have been living in Ireland for 5 months now and still have no one I can call a friend! Because I am leaving in 3 months I sometimes think “why will I connect with someone if I am leaving anyway”? Hopefully I will be able to create roots somewhere so I can be more open for friendships ☺️
Ep 21! Now to wait till I get home to better wifi so I can watch it without constant buffering. . I know loneliness is a big problem in Japan so curious what the video is about 😃.
