  • This my first attempt at vlogging. I show you in the field how I capture Milky Way time lapses which I sell as stock video and stock photos. I show you how I use a Zeapon slider and Pons head as well as three separate camera setups.
This vlog is made at the request of several supporters who asked for my settings. Everything I know (and I am no expert), I learned from watching videos made by Richard Tatti
    / @nightscapeimages.richard
His channel is full of easy-to-understand tutorials.
Your feedback is welcome. I respond to all comments and am happy to help anyone getting into nighttime time lapse or stock video. By the way, I am well over $25k in stock video and photography earnings. This money pays for all of my equipment and related travel. Most of that money (more than $23K to date) was earned on the Blackbox platform.

It’s a saturated category but I love being out in the night and I do get sales from these kind of clips now and then. Thanks for your kind comment and support.

Great vlog! I did the exact same thing , shooting three cameras in different directions, capturing sunset, the stars and sunrise. The idea for the additional light is brilliant - definitely need to incorporate that!

Three cameras is what makes it profitable especially when one is a cheap, 10-year old used one. For time lapses, it works. Glad the lighting helped. So low that you can’t really even see it. That’s all you need. Really appreciate your comment.

@@boycefitzgerald Absolutely - your welcome! Really impressive to see your stock footage earnings. I've never explored that but was hoping to at some point. My other timelapse of the night will be up tomorrow.
