We use this same mixture, but add boiled shredded chicken for cornbread dressing -- at least this is how creoles from Southwest Louisiana typically make these dishes.

They chicken taste funny now and it’s so much trash in the chicken also. After I eat their chicken, I go meatless for a little while.
