Corn on the cobb is always the bomb. Yummy. When i lived in Nebraska years ago, we would pull all the cobbs off their stalks and most the time they were never sweet as they're suppose to be. So, i would drop the cobbs in boiling water with salt in it, of course, about 8 cobbs cut in half . Than i'd pour a half cup of sugar in the pot and let it boil away until they felt nice and tender. (A out 12~15 minutes, lid on pot. Let me tell ya all, sweet and so tender. Half the time no butter was even necessary. Salt. Wow!! Nothi g more needed. No meat or other veggies. I just made a meal out of just that.😊
