About marksman, Yeah we can all agree it has a slow firerate but darn, The damage is relatively high considering it's somewhat of an early tower, Later upgrades allows it to solo boss1 (you can do it faster with two marksman). And about mercenary, considering how nerfed it is, it cant even kill a single hidden boss nowadays. Felt disappointed with buying mercenary for my friend.
Adding to this comment, when I'm in 1v1's, using the loadout of Marksman, DJ, Commander, Farm, and Zed (incase of late game) you can beat the notorious boss 1 spam using 4 level (2) marksmen. They can spam an insane amount of boss 1's and you can still beat it. Of course you need to place commander and possibly DJ for the best percentage of survival, but you can survive more than 20 bosses spammed at you. I tested it.
@@iamhappyio As an old user of marksman I can tell that using level 3 marksman is better against Boss 1's since it has greater dps for the cost (level 2 marksman has 2 dps for 1050 dolars while level 3 marksman has 7 dps for 1890 dollars).
Marksman can almost kill void in a solo match, if it is Co-Op it can kill the void, so I will make the marksman to be atleast further than the soldier Rail gunner it really OP and kills void faster than phazers if played right, ofcourse the cons of no hidden so it needs to have that little bit of hidden detection, and cant play much with it if there is no cliffs
Somthing I recommend is combining DJ, Comander and Railgunner allowing it to be twice as fast as normal and you can get a permit power boost of 65% and a temp power boost of 115% combined that with merc so that it can fire just as fast if not faster then endgame comando. Perfect for hiddens, large enemies and a real damage dealer for wave 20 spams.
I found this tierlist pretty weird.. First of all, Planet confirmed that Harpoon Hunter slows void.. It got its dmg buffed so its more useful but then again the entire slowing effect got nerfed. Soldier is extremely underrated and im glad to see it higher than expected, really good PvP tower. I like the golden scout way more than golden commando, its pretty solid for early boss 1s. Really solid editing and the tierlist was pretty accurate at the most part, golden commando is a good tower but it sucks on small maps on PvP since you get rushed often

It’s honestly pretty sad to see now nobody realizes how insane shotgunner is at generally everything. It is I’m pretty sure the cheapest way to defend wave 1-8, needing only 2-3 of them for this, doing this also let’s you get insane eco, 2 level 4 farms at wave 7, and the tower itself isn’t half bad, being a great boss1 rush counter if you have other towers with it.
Glad to see someone else sees the potential as well! I think the issue is people don’t use it correctly. Shotgunners should be spammed without upgrades since the lvl 2 upgrade costs the same price but only gives range upgrades, but most people upgrade anyway because there’s some misconception that upgrading is always “better”, when the math shows it isn’t always the case.

Tubber back in 2020 was S tier top 1. You could've won 1v1 so easy with Farm, Tubber, Commando. and DJ, It destroyed Boss 3 and Boss 4, also the Necromancers.

Rail is really good for taking out boss 2 and Its a good spammable mid - entering late game tower if you have cliff space. Phaser is mainly for direct tank killing while rail is a bit more versatile. also if you like pvp rail is a lot better than phaser trust me
@@p2p_p3p From what i've seen, most maps have enough cliff space to put atleast 4 railgunners down which usually is enough to deal with most rushes due to the range. It's only unreliable if you plan on having railgunner take over end game dps which is a bad idea.
A lot more agreeable than the last tier list i saw from you, even though some bad data made some ranks a bit out if place (harpoon hunter can slow down void AND endbringers, kinda op ngl and anarchist is incredibly strong when microed) Well in the end, it’s your opinion but i have some tips if you do make another one of these videos: You should try playing on a new account for a while to give yourself the perspective of a player that has just started, i’ve done this myself and my ranking of fragger and tweeter has gone wayyyy up. Try using every tower a bit before ranking them to refresh your thoughts about them. And finally try asking people about their opinions so that your personal preferences don’t cloud your judgment.
Valid points I agree on all of them, due to a lack of experience on the changes I did in fact ask for opinions and this ended up as the result tho if I could rn I would place shotgunner higher as for others I still believe they are atleast in the right tier and yea reason anarchist is not S tier is as stated at the start it includes Survival and Versus in decision making so unfortunately that's why some dropped due to only favoring one side
this tierlist is really meh considering how marksman, shotgunner, enforcer, plasma and gs are put lower than mercenary... marks and gs are much more cost efficient and also have a significantly higher DPS at max -GS may have expensive HD but it's always used with plasma (and plasma is used in almost every single meta loadout), and even without plasma it's able to solo DEV waves 1-39 consistently (yes its bad Eco if you get a Level 4 GS early but it doesn't matter because no one can send against you in survival) -Marksman also struggles with overkill but just bring some crowd control (you should always be bringing crowd control anyway), even in survival it's still great as he can solo carry waves 1-13 in a duo -shotgunner seems underwhelming but it defends b1r and you can get double orchard at wave 7, and if youre really good, you can get 8 orchards at wave 14 it's one of the best towers for getting eco, funny enough he can be used in DEV (not recommended) even with no HD, he doesnt deserve a C even if he's not great for survival -enforcer is also able to get wave 7 double orchard and it counters b1r, b2r, and mar, its used by most tb pro -also why Plasma is so low it counters b1r, b2r, b3r, b4r, and could counter nbr depending on the map, its easily an S class tower... anyways sorry for essay 🤓
u forgot something about commander 1. when u use call to arms u can't use airstrike or using airstrike blocks call to arms thats the worst thing for the commander
theres a thing for events towers are no longer allowed to get it and you need to get wins for golden towers (golden scout 100 wins and golden commando 250 )
This tier list might have been made by a random considering that shotgunner and enforcer have the best eco/eg in game allowing a player to get enough farms to grant them 9k per wave at wave 17 in a 1v1 and putting barracks to high when it lacks damage on any map below 200 studs. and saying that enforcer is reliant on turns was proven wrong when someone soloed dev using enforcer. And as of patrol....hmmmm this tower and commando are easily out classed by avi. Avi also has a spot on every map besides Dead end Valley. If you have a money problem late game and you can't afford 5 max Avis wave 32 then just greed more. And as of right now scarecrow is broken and just makes enemies moon walk. Saying that merc was better than marksman in pvp is also wrong. Merc can not Defeat a b2r on any map under 190 studs. where as marksman can do it on any map above 140 studs. And saying Gc is the best damage dealer in the game is wrong...Because of lag phaser out classes it easily. Gc's dps can drop to about 100 in vs when a player gets Necro boss rushed. Where as phaser is less affected by lag and maintains a higher dps. And mortar is easily out classed by 5 stacked Zeds with the CTA bug. Also grave yard it should never be used for early.
mortar is an s tier tower for both pvp and survival lol in pvp for some reason if u spam alot of mortars it lags the game alot making literally every tower low firerate in their team
I will disagree with phaser. I think tower much more flaws. Cooldown on every kill is a big problem. On those peroid commando will do more dps. In survival it only has usage at last wave. So extremely situational,. In pvp it is useless. People spam zombies which will keep phaser distracted. I seen people use phaser in pvp and they ended up losing because I spammed boss 3. So I'd say phaser is bad tower.
I kinda disagree Phaser is A-Class since you can use it as Boss2 Killer or Hidden Boss early. And without Phaser maps under 200 length will be Impossible solo without GC and 160 under with GC
Nice vid! Most of these I agree with, but I kinda think Shotgunner should be somewhere around B tier. To add-on to the pros list: Spammable with high dps ($300 for a 4 dmg small splash tower is kinda op), counters large early game sends and anarchist androids, can cripple boss1 sends when enough is spammed, in a 3v3 match u can solo defend from wave 1-8 with the other 2 farming which is a good boost for ur teammates. And to add-on to cons: Hiddens and early boss1s, upgrades aren’t as cost effective as the base tower.
mehhh Tuber eazly outclassed Mortar in shorter maps by shit tons IF only used with Commander, even better +DJ. Tuber should've putted in B-Tier with no support while top 3 A Tier with support since its really good in shorter maps until void comes
actually nah merc can deal with boss 1 rush if you use it correctly I mean, just sell some of your farm and upgrade the merc to maxed, and boss 1 rush will be nothing

Every merc player I've seen has had the most awful eco because they try to rush level 4 and max which are overpriced since his nerf. Even solider gets more value then merc and hes way more efficient for the price.
Agree! Same thing with zed. Ppl are so attracted by the fact that they’re one of the best late game towers that they forget mid game is about cost effective towers and not the most expensive ones
big problem you forgot to talk about the commander is that its range is really small, so you have to spam commanders all across the map just to chain commander ability
@@sinisteramplifiedabsolutely yes. Shotgunner is very cost effective as it only costs 300, and deals 4 base dmg and 2 dmg splash in a small area which is very op for that cost. Enforcer is less cost effective, but I would say the one thing it has better than shotgun is it stun, which requires adequate farming to get.
i think golden scout deserves a tier because it does good in early and mid game and using a commander and dj with it makes it op by destroying stuff at lv5
Gc isn’t that bad for small maps, I mean it’s needed to solo/duo small maps like dead end valley, grassland, Mars, and all the other like maps with under 200 track length.
You know what i dislike about this game and other tower defense games? Is that sometimes if not most of the time the towers start at level 1 when they should start at level 0 So technically you are only actually getting 4 upgrades.
i would move soldier to A tier with how efficient they are, whether its spamming 3 lvl 1s early or lvl 4 and 5 upgrades. golden commando i would put at c because you really need a good economy to make them useful endgame and 5000 credits to place your first doesnt really sell it for me

this tierlist is really meh considering how marksman, shotgunner, enforcer, plasma and gs are put lower than mercenary... marks and gs are much more cost efficient and also have a significantly higher DPS at max
-GS may have expensive HD but it's always used with plasma (and plasma is used in almost every single meta loadout), and even without plasma it's able to solo DEV waves 1-39 consistently (yes its bad Eco if you get a Level 4 GS early but it doesn't matter because no one can send against you in survival)
-Marksman also struggles with overkill but just bring some crowd control (you should always be bringing crowd control anyway), even in survival it's still great as he can solo carry waves 1-13 in a duo
-shotgunner seems underwhelming but it defends b1r and you can get double orchard at wave 7, and if youre really good, you can get 8 orchards at wave 14 it's one of the best towers for getting eco, funny enough he can be used in DEV (not recommended) even with no HD, he doesnt deserve a C even if he's not great for survival
-enforcer is also able to get wave 7 double orchard and it counters b1r, b2r, and mar, its used by most tb pro
-also why Plasma is so low it counters b1r, b2r, b3r, b4r, and could counter nbr depending on the map, its easily an S class tower...

This tier list might have been made by a random considering that shotgunner and enforcer have the best eco/eg in game allowing a player to get enough farms to grant them 9k per wave at wave 17 in a 1v1 and putting barracks to high when it lacks damage on any map below 200 studs. and saying that enforcer is reliant on turns was proven wrong when someone soloed dev using enforcer. And as of patrol....hmmmm this tower and commando are easily out classed by avi. Avi also has a spot on every map besides Dead end Valley. If you have a money problem late game and you can't afford 5 max Avis wave 32 then just greed more. And as of right now scarecrow is broken and just makes enemies moon walk. Saying that merc was better than marksman in pvp is also wrong. Merc can not Defeat a b2r on any map under 190 studs. where as marksman can do it on any map above 140 studs. And saying Gc is the best damage dealer in the game is wrong...Because of lag phaser out classes it easily. Gc's dps can drop to about 100 in vs when a player gets Necro boss rushed. Where as phaser is less affected by lag and maintains a higher dps. And mortar is easily out classed by 5 stacked Zeds with the CTA bug. Also grave yard it should never be used for early.

I will disagree with phaser. I think tower much more flaws. Cooldown on every kill is a big problem. On those peroid commando will do more dps. In survival it only has usage at last wave. So extremely situational,. In pvp it is useless. People spam zombies which will keep phaser distracted. I seen people use phaser in pvp and they ended up losing because I spammed boss 3. So I'd say phaser is bad tower.
I kinda disagree Phaser is A-Class since you can use it as Boss2 Killer or Hidden Boss early. And without Phaser maps under 200 length will be Impossible solo without GC and 160 under with GC

your not playing with only phaser if you play versus your gonna have other damage towers to kill extra zombies

Nice vid! Most of these I agree with, but I kinda think Shotgunner should be somewhere around B tier.
To add-on to the pros list: Spammable with high dps ($300 for a 4 dmg small splash tower is kinda op), counters large early game sends and anarchist androids, can cripple boss1 sends when enough is spammed, in a 3v3 match u can solo defend from wave 1-8 with the other 2 farming which is a good boost for ur teammates.
And to add-on to cons: Hiddens and early boss1s, upgrades aren’t as cost effective as the base tower.

@@fungaragun8065 Mercs dps is just bad and in my opinion it's pretty much useless since avi was nerfed. Every merc player I've seen has had the most awful eco because they try to rush level 4 and max which are overpriced since his nerf. Even solider gets more value then merc and hes way more efficient for the price.

Zed is equal to golden commando, put 6 golden commandos boosted by CTA and 5 zeds boosted by CTA and you will find them to have equal dps

Enforcer is less cost effective, but I would say the one thing it has better than shotgun is it stun, which requires adequate farming to get.

Is that sometimes if not most of the time the towers start at level 1 when they should start at level 0
So technically you are only actually getting 4 upgrades.
