Had such a great time talking to you guys! It's AMAZING to get to talk to people that are so knowledgeable and interested in the same gear that I love! Clay, PLEASE forgive me for calling you "Clair" when I was showing the Unfairchild! I'm a spaz too often, sorry ! I have the utmost respect for you and am a fan of your videos and the path you've taken with Boulevard Recording.
You’re the man Perry. Thank you all for validating this crazy obsession. It’s very cathartic listening to Perry talk about the journey of collecting. Great episode.
I realized now that Sam's earlier addition of Beatle's Gear has a different Texan than the newer additions! The reason why they changed it is because the Texan in the older version wasn't McCartney spec. It had a wooden bridge rather than the plastic bridge! When the new version came out they added so many guitars that weren't pictured in the first addition: The SG, J-200, Mac spec Texan, Esquire , and Hootenanny. Of course they also included John's stolen J-160e which had been found.
Probably my favorite episode we’ve done yet, just because Perry is so much fun to talk with and so knowledgeable However, if I could correct his German…he said umshlaut instead of umlaut. Which would translate roughly to ‘wraps around’ 😜
Also for the record, I checked the receipt in the case of my Gretsch Tenny and I actually paid $2610.00 NOT $2800--- $2600 was still a little on the high end for the guitar at the time, but it was in such good condition with no binding issues that I went for it!.
the joy in watching Gear There and Everywhere is watching these nerds scramble to show off their reference books while gigachad Paul lounges back to watch
Awesome Video! Really enjoy listening and watching you guys you are all cool and great players and I love your videos. Anyone know how much a 1963 RCA Leslie cabinet is worth without the plug. It still works and sounds fantastic.I think it might have gotten ruined or destroyed there’s a possibility I may still have it. Perry your collection is absolutely mind blowing drooling over at all that gear!
I've got a 65 5/024/L Long scale Hootenanny with a fixed bridge and a Campus King. The Campus King sounds more like a Hootenanny than the Hootenanny does I think because of the solid bridge. I also have the original case that came with the Hootenanny. Got it off eBay too. You're right about the scarf joints both needed attention after I got them. But they play great and have no issues. I have an extra trapeze Hootenanny tail piece as I was going to make a Lennon spec Hootenanny. My Campus King has the trapeze tail piece.
Cool videos thanks for these.. I went to Paul McCartney’s University (LIPA) and was handed my award by Macca himself .. it was fun and he was such a nice guy ❤
Love this episode and Perry's gear is a Beatle nerd dream - come true, I absoutely love the McCartney spec Casino! What year is it and when did they manufactured it?
Love this Beatles gear nerd fest. What an incredible collection. Is the Gibson ES345 in sunburst missing? I'm sure Harrison used one in the video for Daytripper/We can work it out.
*TOPIC REQUEST:* I'd love to hear you guys discuss the East West Fab Four, a VST instrument (I think) made by Ken Scott and others. I'm trying to understand it well enough to ask a question but I'm sure you guys would have all sorts of insights. It would also open the door for comparing the art of sequencing Beatles songs with sampled sound versus the infinitely more difficult task of actually playing them.
Perry the GOAT! Felt like six guys meeting for beers down at the pub. Really enjoyed this one. Now when are y'all going to hit ME up for an interview???
There is a guy who used to frequent BeatGearCavern and he was building units like this from available schematics . I bought one just before I believe Chandler Limited shut him down because y Abbey Road didn't license him. He built Great stuff and I was very lucky to have been able to buy one of his very first units .
I heard someone say the 325c58 isn’t worth what they’re going for. What would be a fair price? I’m sure everyone here knows about the one on Reverb for $3,600
We actually talked about that somewhat in episode 2 about the ES-345 because I’d been telling the group for a year that I thought it was the ES-345 on the backing and found a studio photo proving the guitar was around by that point. Unfortunately we didn’t talk about that in this one though
@GearThereEverywhere arrgh... well, alright in the end though. I remember screaming at my phone at the time "It's NOT a Strat!" but looks like we all forgot that sleeper Tennesseean 😀

What I like about Perry is that he is actually a really goood musician too, and USES this gear, rather than a collector who simply wants to own stuff.

Sam's cat pouncing at the 31:02 minute mark. If the Beatles video thing doesn't work out, he can start a cat channel!
Amazing, I didn’t even notice that when editing haha
She hates when I film the podcast. Always trying to disrupt
Awesome - I learn so much from listening to you🎸✌️🌹
Thanks, we’re glad to hear it!
Brilliant show
Thanks!

I really enjoy Perry’s enthusiasm. People like him are my favorite people to talk to.
He’s certainly got an infectious excitement about Beatles Gear!

lol! PLEASE do correct me! I was all over the place ... I called the rs124 the "127" once... I need to get much more sleep!
@@perrystanleyNumber9 I just like to mess with you. We all make those mistakes. It's hard keeping track of so many guitar names in my brain :)
It's one of the best episodes. It's pretty enjoyable.
Always love having Perry come on! Nothing better than straight gear talk.

Awesome episode guys, keep it up.
Thanks!

That’s awesome! Definitely jealous you got to meet him!
My first visit to your channel, most interesting, I've been a Beatles fan since 1962.
Thanks for watching! Awesome to meet people who have been around since the beginning!
Coming back for seconds!! great VIDEO PERRY!
Hey, Marc! Thanks! Really grateful to have been on your "Girl"project!
Great guy, happy to see him again! Both very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Love this episode and Perry's gear is a Beatle nerd dream - come true, I absoutely love the McCartney spec Casino! What year is it and when did they manufactured it?
What a fantastic video have a wonderful weekend ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks you too!

I didn't take it out but used my ES345 in my last two Day tripper videos.
Yeah AFAIK the ES-345 has still not been accounted for since 1965.
Ryan the big Beatles fan. Looking in the 1965 chapter for the Esquire 😅
New episode soon ? looking forward to it =)
Yep, ended up being busier than usual this week, but finally just got part 2 uploaded!

I have a Epiphone Casino Warn Denim. It’s plays and sounds great.
The master!
I had a 66 Casino back in the 80s. I now have a Terada Pre Elitist Casino. Paid 1700 for it.
Im pretty sure Rickenbacker was Swiss
Cool video, cant wait for Part 2
Oh you’re right, I just checked, I guess his first name being Adolf must have tipped me in a German direction haha
Perry the GOAT! Felt like six guys meeting for beers down at the pub. Really enjoyed this one. Now when are y'all going to hit ME up for an interview???
passion
We are a crazy beatle gear Gang. 😊
Thank you WRT pronunciation. I paid enough for my Rickenb(O)ackers to warrant pronouncing it however I want.
Perry... Where did you get the RED "Pop" Eq from?

I bought one just before I believe Chandler Limited shut him down because y Abbey Road didn't license him. He built Great stuff and I was very lucky to have been able to buy one of his very first units .
Let’s gooo
Speaking about pronunciations, has anyone brought up the most obvious example, Beatles versus the American Beadles?
I heard someone say the 325c58 isn’t worth what they’re going for. What would be a fair price? I’m sure everyone here knows about the one on Reverb for $3,600
Oh that’s actually not a bad price at all compared with all the ones getting listed for $5000 for the last several years
@@GearThereEverywhere yeah 3600 is a better price. I paid 4500.
I Paid 3100 for mine back in 2015. Still have it.
I ended up buying it. Absolutely love it!
Nice to see you guys finally have Perry on. I'll have to watch thus through to see if he tells how he definitively cracked the Day Tripper guitars.
