    This lullaby is written approximately at 2045 BC, making it 4 thousand years old. A lullaby made for a Sumerian king's son being kept alive on mothers' tongues for four thousand years is a beautiful thing.

    Did you know that some of the lyrics of this song are sung in southern Iraq? I remember when my mom used to sing it to me when I was little, but it's not quite the same as a lullaby. There are Arabic and Sumerian words
    The people of southern Iraq are great for mixing their Sumerian culture with the Arab culture that was prevalent, so they preserved their Sumerian culture and heritage
    They did not put themselves in danger
