The fact that this song was played at the most touching times....
They didn't forget it, and even brought it back for Kösem's sister's death....

My grandmother was from Smyrna, she used to sing to us this lullaby.

This song makes me think how all those sultans and sultanas with so much power are just gone! Ugh how much i wanna go back to the ottoman times
Hey! My name is Ayesha khan and I also want to go back but that's impossible :(
Sadly such is life ..once powerful and yet no more . May Allah forgive us and make the journey in this life easy for us and allow us to dwell in His jannah .
No
Yeah those were the magnificent years but u know there was a lot of suffering to but I still want to be a sultana in tye ottoman days like beetween 1500s sultan suleyman and hurrem sultan or 1600s sultan ahmed and kosem sultan. When I hear these songs I feel like im an sultana
Yeah me too after watching magnificent century and magnificent century : kosem I realized how amazing the ottoman histories were and i wanna go back to those times too

The song is Greek 😂
The Sultan Kosem was Greek. Originally Anastasia
This is really a beautiful video tribute for Anastasia Tisimpliou and Beren Saat. They both did an excellent job as Kosem Sultan however Anastasia Tisimpliou could have stayed more than 6 episodes as Beren Saat's debut as adult Kosem was not at the correct time in the series.
I wish they had kept Anastasia at least until they did the ten year time jump, but I did like Beren in a lot of those mid-season scenes.
😭😆😆😆🤨🤨😲😯😭😭😭🤬
Yes, she should have come when Mehmet and Osman had grown up...
Exactly, when they changed Anastasia to Beren it was unexpected and very unsatisfactory
Anastasia Tsilimpiou had a chance to be the next Meryem Uzerli if TIMS had not messed things up with her.

Rum and greek are not same thing
soph greek indicates a certain ethnic identity. does not specify rum. Rum is most likely a Latin ethnic
soph Ottoman citizen means Turkish, Jewish, Rum, Greek, Arab, Persian, Albanian, Bosnian and Serbian. And it does not specify a specific ethnic identity. They are all a different race. Rum is like that.

How many stars are on the sky, my pearl, and they shine one by one, and they shine one by one.
So many times my eyes, my pearl, they teared for you, they teared for you.
Oh, come mother, love and me, cradle mother the child for me.
I sigh, you do not hear me, my pearl, I cry you do not pity me, I cry you do not pity me.
Oh, come mother, love and me, cradle mother the child for me.
You are not a mother` s born, my pearl, you even fear no God, you even fear no God.
Oh, come mother, love and me, cradle mother the child for me.
(Some parts of the song are a little difficult to be translated accurately even by us the Greeks. The Greek language is a very difficult one. You did a good job though with the translation of this song. And thank you for translating Kosem. Keep up the good work).

@@masterprocastinator8884 It is in Greek
I can't even understand a single word of this masterpiece 😢😢😢 but i cried a lot after listening this Missing old days of kosem sultan serial
The feeling is so amazing and touches the deepest part of heart. Loved Kosem. She was the only reason ottomans stayed alive. She saved them so many times. She was better and more powerful than Hurrem. She helped everyone, loved step son so dearly.Hurrem only thought about herself. It is so sad that she was killed so mercilessly. Murad was so bad with her but she saved and loved him dearly.
Ikr Hurrem was a cruel woman, some people like her still. She didn't even love her own children she married her daughter to a cruel man and didn't even give Bayezid the throne he so wanted and killed his wife
Nahin Taba hurrem did love her own children . She wasn’t cruel . Seems like you are biased .
I agree with you but if she believe in murad make him her ally but accidently she make him her own enemy thats the biggest mistake she ever done otherwise murad is the very strong ruler both they could rule the world together
Excuse me we all know Kosem wasnt going to give up her regency to Murad and when you say she loved her children I didnt know executing your own mental child was love and if I had a mental child I wouldnt evven give him the throne the first place and when u said she loved her stepson Osman than how about Bayezid I know it was her son but he still didnt complain about her mother being exiled but still Kosem was blinded by power and one more thing she was cruel she tried poisoning her own grandchild turhan's son by putting poison in his milk I dont think Hurrem did that and btw she wasnt like Kosem Hurrem protected her family not harm them
@@naheenisapoet69 I'm not saying Hurrem was an angel, but If you genuinely think Kosem was any better you should rewatch the show/ read the historical facts.
As a Turk, I love my Greek brothers and sisters. Of course all the stuff related to them. Music is one of them. No matter what they say, all the politics and stuff, we are very much alike. Lived together for 3 centuries. Became neighbours, fell in love, worked together, ate, drank together. We kinda became eachother. God damn 19th century nationalism movement. Destroyed all.
I dont
@@doublemosasaur5091 good for u
It actually pretty true in like 18th century before Athens was in Greece Muslims drank wine with their Christian neighbors and lived together in harmony however it not to say that Greek weren't often targeted for their religion
Stop reminding us that we have the worst neighbors around the world turco-taliban 💣

Eu descobri está série encantadora nesses dias em casa, através do you tube, e estou apaixonada com todo este trabalho...sou Brasileira, mas aprecio culturas distintas
Am I the only one who liked Kosem more than Hurrem? Perhaps yes. By the way I'm not talking about the drama. Cause in all fields 'magnificent century ' drama was more interesting than 'Magnificent century: Kosem ' and it's story was more emotional. Plus their side characters were also very lovable. I'm only talking about the character of Hurrem and Kosem. I always felt like Hurrem was very much less innocent than kosem. In the beginning. Kosem was literally an angel. She helped those who harmed her. She never purposely provoked anyone or liked to start fight. She was not rude. But Hurrem from the beginning was fierce, possessive and ambitious. With time these traits of her became stronger. Hurrem didn't change actually. She was always the same. Just became stronger and more ambitious and evil with time. But kosem's character completely changed. Throughout the whole series you will see slowly her innocence fading away . Even though she doesn't want it to. The girl who once gave up on everything to save her lover , her children and to save the empire, ends up killing all her children and becomes a heartless, power Hungry woman. She became the opposite version of what she was in the beginning. Kosem's character was more tragic than Hurrem's. Hurrem might've lost her children, het parents , her friends and many things. But she was same from beginning till the end. But Kosem lost her parents, sister, love , friends, children and everything and most importantly herself. There is nothing more tragic than losing yourself.
