Muddy would enjoy this, sounds great. I once saw him live in a small club back in the early '70s. I sat in front of the stage about eight feet away from the great man. He totally blew my mind with his enormous talent. I consider that a privilege in my life.
I am pretty sure that Muddy et al. played on whatever type of guitar they could get their hands on early in their journey and a modern classical guitar with nylon strings is probably closer to the roots of blues than people would expected. Nice job. Sounds Great.
Of course it's awesome... I learned all my blues on a $30 nylon string that I keep in my jeep (still play it)... I actually think learning to bend on it was better than steel cause I learned the technique first...
When I first heard Muddy Waters over 50 years ago I thought I had gone crazy and found Heaven. The album " Father's and Sons " is the best blues album he made. All his hits are on it and Paul Butterfield, Mike Bloomfield and Otis Spann. If you love Muddy check it out.
While stringing together a few blues licks wherever is simple on paper, To have a true commended of the rhythm and form to play unaccompanied and never get lost while improvising is NOT simple! True art along with the feel which is more often mentioned
masterful playing . I love playing finger style blues on classical guitar . All the tone is there to pull out without the endless fiddling around looking for that elusive "electric' tone and you don't want a volume assault .
Felicidades.
I am a Classical Guitarist and I am mesmerized by this, the technique is contrary to pure CLASSICA GUITARISTS but what the HECK the HUMAN GROVE of the Swing Blues is most IMPORTANT the ENJOYMENT of MUSIC. Bravo!!!!
Very nice arrangement, sounds great. I love playing blues on my Ibanez nylon string. John Lee Hooker did a live LP on classical guitar, I still have it, it's great. Muddy Waters was a great guy, I met him in 1972 in Seattle, at that time he only took the stage for the last 3-4 songs per set, he would move around the club greeting people and visiting, he sat and talked with me and my girlfriend for 15 minutes, he was very personable.
I just love this performance.❤ I'm learning how to play the blues on guitar, so I really appreciate this video. You've earned a subscriber. Thank you! 👍👍👍
This is helpful to me even though it is much more advanced than where I am at because I’m just now starting to learn to solo so, it gives me a place to go!
¡Enhorabuena!
I really want to learn how to play blues rock and other genres a bit to experiment in the future and figure that the Spanish/classical guitar would be perfect for learning. I just need to get one after doing an amount of music theory reading at as soon as I get one of those books, but of course not have it be too late when I get it so I can be to apply what I know
Talkin bout makin water outta wine right here, going in thru the out door, putting the square peg through the round hole. The low down filthy nylon string blues
I love the tone of a gut-string guitar, but whenever I play one, I'm sharply reminded of how unforgiving they are with hammer-ons and pull-offs compared with steel. Great playing, and great vid. Thanks
Awesome sound and playing….thanks for sharing….I’d like to know how you got that great sound, amp.? Amp. Sim product? It really made that nylon string sing right..❤
"Mean mistreater" The title of the song ...the only thing that is missing from this brilliancy ,where classic guitar meets a classic bluesman...Johnny Winter and Dr John they treated very nice this song as well

That was a masterclass in fingerstyle blues. Probably one of the best online today.🎸

Muddy Waters would like this version...., well played....,

wise words. technique first. strength later.
Aah cool. I have the cheapo nylon string guitar from when my wife was a teenager in the work van.

Love the mellow sounds emanating from those nylon strings!
Clean af yet still got some Bluesey mud on it. Beautiful. The piano on the track kicks too
Beautiful !
Blues is so simple as a musical genre, yet so heart touching.
Why is there always one simple sayer like this shit harder than fast shredding metal scripted shite
Its how you play it it aint just hitting notes
It’s simple on paper. The real blues comes from within.

LOVE IT. More blues on nylon pleas!
If you like nylon string blues, check out Jon Mark's guitar work with John Mayall on the album The Turning Point. A landmark LP in this genre.
@@GreenManalishiUSA Thank you, really enjoyed it.
Just fab! Thanks for that. Amazing how the blues can cheer you up - when it's done so well!
clean, uncluttered and elegant. Yet, it's all there. Beautiful.
Felicidades.
Gracias!
And there it is, a lifetime of licks to learn. Outstanding. Thank you.
Dear Sir,
That was awesome!!!
That left me speechless. Thank -you for sharing.

Do you remember the name of the John Lee hooker LP you are talking about?
Hello! Could you please share the name of the John Lee Hooker live LP you mentioned? Really interested in it!
@@riquelope445 I think it's live at a club in New York and the title begins with Live..........
That's the way a Classical guitar is supposed to be played!!
I love this. Thank you! Lots of great new licks here (at least for me).

IMPRESIONANTE !!! PARECE COMO SI ESTUVIERA TOCANDO EL PIANO EN VEZ DE UNA GUITARRA , ME ENCANTA
Fabulous!! Blue's is king!!!
Very soothing
I saw him live at Toronto , Ontario Place Forum
Amazing playing. I play like this but I wish I could do it this good

Ottimo lavoro! 👏👏👏👏👏👌🌟
this is class thank you your a legend
It amazing what you can do with those fingers.
That's what my ex used to tell me. Ironically when she finished with me, I raised two of them in her direction and thought "Yep, she was right".
🤙🏻
Love listening to this blow the blues away great thanks
Impressive, this is best blues on tube!!!
Gotta love that Spanish guitar tone!
Great version. I used to play and sing it when I was going to Blues jams and always felt it was missing a solo… Now I have plenty of ideas for it…
Beautiful.
AWESOME! MUCH RESPECT!
Can't loose what you ain't never had!! This is ace!!
Great job
This perfomance is way better than I expected. Mainly because full step bending is impossible on classical. But this is just super cool
Thank you kindly.
Good rendition, those nylon strings work fine.
Love your playing. Thank you!
Very nice, I’ve never heard the blues played on a classical guitar before, it sounded really nice. Great playing . 👍
Many thanks!
excellant du beau travail Thanks for posting

That was amazing

Great playing, and great vid. Thanks
You mean nylon? Gut is very rarely used these days
@@Thename123J I bet you're fun at parties
Been thinkin for years about trying nylon----this sound convincing. Would've preferred hearing just the guitar without the add-ons though.
So beautiful! Wow!!!!
Thank you! 😊
He's been standing at the cross ❌ rode for sure.
Bravo!
Merci !
Thank you very much Olivier!
I love it!
Awesome sound and playing….thanks for sharing….I’d like to know how you got that great sound, amp.? Amp. Sim product? It really made that nylon string sing right..❤
Thanks, it's just reverb and compressor plug-ins. No amps.
Very cool. Thank you.😎

Talented. Is there a piano behind you .

You could call this segment "Nylon Blues". Great tone.
Fantastic!!
That is about as sweet as it comes.
Great! 🔥
Waoooo ! Fantastique 😎🤘
"Mean mistreater" The title of the song ...the only thing that is missing from this brilliancy ,where classic guitar meets a classic bluesman...Johnny Winter and Dr John they treated very nice this song as well
Classic.
Is there a slow step by step tutorial of this song on available on the patreon? Some part are really tricky
No, only tabs/sheet and backing track
Excellent video! How about "Rainy Rainy Day" (the Angel Heart version) by Brownie McGee?
Classic
Beautiful 🎸🎼
EXCELLENT 👍👏💯
Muito bom.
Sublime
Cool.👌
Excelente
Cool 😊
amazing - what guitar is that?
Riiiiight on.
So cool......what make/model nylon string guitar is that?
it's Camps cut 900
Nice
Superbly played mmm good 👍 👏 👌
Great playing, is the low E tuned that low purposely?
Actually, that's not a low E string on the guitar-there’s a double bass playing in the background.
Hello. Nice performance. I was wondering how you got the black background like that. Is it just a black background then front lit?
yes, black background and two lights
That was phat.
hmm, I like how it sounds on classical acoustic👍
