I went through a huge weight loss in the course of a year and what I can tell you is what my girlfriend taught me and I followed her program and the biggest factor was sleep. Early bed time and sleeping at least 8 hours prevent night snacks and also serves as a form of Intermittent fasting. Add moderate and a variety of exercises and you should be set💪🏾
