  • This mountain bike trail, found just outside Coleman in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, Canada is a favorite of many riders. With a combination of Jumps, High Speed, Rock, Rock Slab, Wooden features, Drops and Berms there's probably more variety than any trail of this length I've ridden.
Crowsnest Pass is quickly becoming a hotspot in Alberta for great varied mountain biking.
I am riding the Esker Rowl 29er 140mm/150mm Mountain Bike in this video with a Shimano XT Drivetrain.

Impressive riding. You are braver than I am, some of this stuff looks like higher risk than I could personally accept. Have you ever broken a bone or had a serious accident mountain biking?

Thanks. Yes, I have broken a few bones but that is spread over 30+ years on a mountain bike which I think is fair. My favorite part of mountain biking is that it is as extreme or dangerous as you want, and know matter what level you're at you can fondly look back at achievements while also realizing there is an endless amount of learning ahead.

I like it. The Esker Rowl has proven to be a great bike for someone who likes a variety of trails. It climbs well, pedals very efficiently, but most of all is great fun on a variety of descending style trails.

@@bch1309 planning to actually. It is hard because I have so much to say ironically and I think every day about all the unique attributes and how to discuss them without sounding like a late night infomercial... but wait, there's more! Hopefully within a couple weeks.

Do you need to shuttle here or pedal up?

    • @BikeBrosBikeShop

Not really able to shuttle this. 2 different up-tracks. Front door climb is mellow. Back door climb a bit steeper but more interesting.

@@BikeBrosBikeShop how long is the pedal up? 1 hour? Like husky?
