What a gem of a place you’ve found, all the amenities you need for a cyclist aficionado, I’d definitely want to see more discoveries like this one, great job, thanks for showing it to us..
It's amazing to me how much of a cycling paradise Chiang Mai seems to be. I just got back from Thailand (Bangkok, Krabi, Phuket) and bicycles of any variety seem to be a bit of a rarity. Chiang Mai seems to be the exception.
Awesome! Love the tour, loop-map, and especially the interview with the German national staying there. You should do more interviews of local cyclists (Thai nationals) as well as foreigner nationals for even more richer content and diverse perspectives. Whenever things return to normal (whatever that means), this will be my next trip for sure. Thank you so much^^ and say hello to Thuong. Peace-out!
What a nice looking, and perfectly set up hotel! It's awesome that you managed to get a pro rider interview into the video as well! Maybe you can do more interviews in the future. Nicely done! Cheers.
Thanks for all the route links, woooooooo. And maybe I should stay there when I go. The rooms look nice, prices good, and it would be convinient with all the biking stuff.
That place looks incredible for such a low price. You probably couldn’t rent a dilapidated garage for that cost here. And not only that, you get to stay in this cycling heaven really. Just amazing.
Wow!! Great interview and thank you for this video. So very awesome to know about this hotel. I would love to plan a cycling trip and this looks like THE place to stay. Especially if there are some local group rides that are welcoming to join up with to do those climbs!
This is the most perfect hotel to stay in if you are touring the area. Just how great are the security and bike maintenance facilities, gibbing you total peace of mind ! By the way, have either of you been unwell ? I was rather concerned something bad had happened , because there has been an unusual delay in your regular video release. Hope all is well now.
That's quite a neat setup they have at this hotel. Really all the amenities a cyclist may need and more at their disposal. Wishing you and Thuong a healthy and Happy New Year! 😀
Re. the opening instrumental piece, I'LL tell you what's "cruel": Playing "Cruel Summer" while you're living in paradise and I'M up here suffering though a Sunday in January that's -5 degrees C! BUT... at least I get to watch you guys with morning coffee, which makes the day a little more pleasant. Best to you!
Wow! Love the hotel! I’ve never seen anything like it. I can think of a few places near me that could use a hotel like that. Such as bucket list locations for cyclists. Very cool.
Great to see the Vanilla again.... We stayed in 2020 for 6 weeks, riding everyday. Best residence for cyclist, the place is on my mind everyday, I love that hotel, the staff, the boss (Prin). So easy, well located, confortable, clean. The video says it all, it is all there...... I wish I was there as well!
Wow amazing spot! love the bike repair area fabulous concept ie keeping open to the general public...great review, thanks agian for showing us around 🚴♂️🤙
That’s a really cool place for staying with bike. Hopefully once the corona things/restrictions are done, will visit the country. Although it’s a long long way for me to fly.
Great video. I have a place in Chaing Mai but am currently back in Australia but will be back there soon. Have been planning to take my bike over for some climbs when I get back there but seems like some of the rental options - but still, I would miss my power meter. I reckon as suggested a vid up Doi Suthep would be a winner... will connect when in town you can come to visit at my join in Lamphun :)
While I'm watching this, my friend just posted a picture on Facebook that said he's in his hometown tagged Chaingmai... I've known him for years and didn't realize he was from Chiang Mai! NOW I'm going to get to visit in the future with a HomeTown tour guide! (I am from Michigan and MET him here in Michigan which makes this even more amusing knowing you're a Michigander)
I am in the hotel business, it is interesting to see a bike centric property. I love the free tool use. those rooms are also very disabled friendly so spacious and all roll in showers. do they offer bike tours? if not that would be a great opportunity for you guys
I believe they may collaborate with a local touring company for tours with the bike rentals. Btw, lots of older hotels here seem to have elevators stop between floors, so there are some stairs, making pretty much every floor disabled unfriendly.
For sure you guys should stay in this place (for at least a month), it should provide a lot of interesting videos. Most obvious first one being a ride up Doi Suthep from the hotel, with a group of resident riders. My next suggestion is that you ride down the Chiang Mai-Lamphun Road to Wat Phrathat Hariphunchai, in the town of Lamphun (the Ancient Kingdom of Hariphunchai). Wish I was in Chiang Mai, so I could show you some of my favorite roads (and Noodle Shops) in the area, but I am still Stuck in Laos at the moment.
@@TwoWheelCruise you can be honoury members from your own residence. Some rides with tourists from there would be interesting, especially with interviews on what brought them there.
hello there! thinking of going on a trip to chiang mai with my foldable bike and rent a proper bike when im going for longer rides. anyone knows if foldable bikes can be carried into temples and coffee houses?
I thought I was getting a good deal here on a condo rental in Issan, but at those 1-3+ month rates, it's actually cheaper to land at the hotel instead of trying finding a long-term rental right away.
I wanna go there, and I'd like to stay there too. (Our forecast temperature range for tomorrow is -13 to -24 deg C, so you can see why, eh.) And it's so cyclist-friendly. I've never seen anything like it. How is it that it's not fully booked with a huge waiting list? Covid restrictions, I guess.
Quick question: did you have to worry about security out of the hotel? With respect to yourself and your belongings. There was a recent video of pillion motorcyclists pick-pocketing valuables out of cyclists' back pockets, thus was wondering about general "safeness" over there. Thanks as for all your videos btw! Your Japan vids were always therapy for me after a long day's work. Cheers
We're not staying here, but I imagine they have some kind of insurance in case any bikes are stolen. The pick-pocketing out of pockets while riding is a concern, so we are trying to ride defensively with that.
Thats a really nice hotel! Very cyclist oriented place. The rates are awesome too. 7000 baht for a standard room for a month right? Thats an even better deal that most places here in PH considering how well each room looks and the different amenities available.
That's a dining table?? LOL hahahahahahaha Not having a bath tub really really sucks, bush league. IMO. When are you going to show some bustling city life at least once?? And I would ride my any of my heavy steel IGH 3/ 5/ 7/ 14 speeds over any of those bikes.
Wow what a lovely cycling hotel .

Love the concept with the community workshop and hang out place for cyclists. Really liking these Kaze bikes since you introduce them.
Thanks! Us too :)
Thanks for all the route links, woooooooo. And maybe I should stay there when I go. The rooms look nice, prices good, and it would be convinient with all the biking stuff.
When i go bike packing in Thailand this is Definitely on my list to go to.
I'm so excited, I watched in California and now Alaska. Thank you for.being there for us
Thanks! :)
That place looks incredible for such a low price. You probably couldn’t rent a dilapidated garage for that cost here. And not only that, you get to stay in this cycling heaven really. Just amazing.
Hard to beat, and lots of good food nearby too.

Have you thought of a trip south to the coast? Video of you guys cycling by the gorgeous beaches of Pattaya would be a treat for all!
Possibly during burning season
That is a nice hotel. Like the interview as well. Glad you are enjoying Chiang Mai and can't wait for more videos. 🙂
Thanks! More to come :)
A cyclist's paradise, I really like the work station. Awesome stuff
This is the most perfect hotel to stay in if you are touring the area. Just how great are the security and bike maintenance facilities, gibbing you total peace of mind !

Thanks! Only uploaded 1 video this last week to take a short break with the new year :)
Never knew there was a place like this. Great coverage. Very, very interesting.
That's quite a neat setup they have at this hotel. Really all the amenities a cyclist may need and more at their disposal. Wishing you and Thuong a healthy and Happy New Year! 😀
Thank you! Off to a good start :)
Great vlog Cruise! This will be my top 1 place to stay in Thailand when i go there. I might even run into Cruise, you never know! 😁
Great place to stay :)

I love this!! Very cool video.
Thanks for watching!
Wow. This I did not know. I really will come stay here and I am allowed to come to CM. Great fine TWC 👍
Thanks!
Informative video 👍
Thanks 🙂
Wow. Looks like a nice place.
Awesome 👌 video, more please, you guys should stay there a few nights to give it a full review. 😀
We are curious to stay and get the full rider group experience
Wonderful hotel and video! :)
Thanks!
The rooms look ok, but the catering to cyclists is great! 👍, excellent attention to cyclists 🚴♀️ 👏
Interesting Concept.
That’s a really cool place for staying with bike. Hopefully once the corona things/restrictions are done, will visit the country. Although it’s a long long way for me to fly.
Thank you for this
No problem 😊
It was nice to meet Lucas from BikeAid. I know he's a friend of Joel's but I hadn't heard him much on that channel yet.
Yeah, they're friends I think, but Joel doesn't seem to make many cycling videos.
@@TwoWheelCruise correct, I guess I'd call his more of a lifestyle channel. Anyway thanks for your content. 👍
This place is definitely on my to go list.

Doi Suthep video for sure! Pedal power meters are great for travel.
_Welcome back_ - I wondered where you were & commented on a videos on Thuong's channel that maybe you'd forgotten how.
Thanks! We were taking a short break with only 1 video last week and more riding to start the new year :)

That's the best way to do it!
Great hotel, will defo check that out. Maybe some 2WC Thailand cycling jersey are needed!!
Good idea!
Very cool!
I guess I know where I'm staying if I'm ever in Chiang Mai.
Very cool hotel! I won a couple of Cat5 trophies back on the day 🤣
Those didn't exist in my hometown LOL
“Bike hotel…”
Me: Say no more! Booking ticket now XD
I Love Mountain Bikes😆
Best 3 words.
What an amazing concept, I wonder if these types of hotel exist in other places in the world? Thanks for sharing.
I'm sure they must!
I miss Thuong. Let's go!
Haha the one video she hasn't been in for months

@@TwoWheelCruise ahhh. I did not notice that.
That's so you can shower with your bike, lol!

We are considering moving there, but sadly no king side beds and Thuong wants a bigger kitchen 😅

Nice place and vid....just a shame the pollution levels are so dangerously high in Chiang Mai at this time of year.
Not so bad now.

Do they have any flat top hybrids ?
nice hotel.
Lucas has a striking resemblance to Rami Malek of Mr. Robot. 🤣
Do they allow you to keep your bike in your room?
Not gonna lie. I miss the folding bike adventures.
There will still be some folding bike videos around town ;)
I wanna go there, and I'd like to stay there too. (Our forecast temperature range for tomorrow is -13 to -24 deg C, so you can see why, eh.) And it's so cyclist-friendly. I've never seen anything like it. How is it that it's not fully booked with a huge waiting list? Covid restrictions, I guess.
I think pre-covid they were very busy, same with most places here. It's very nice (for tourists) now since it's much less busy.
@@TwoWheelCruise Yeah. I used to live in a resort town, and the holiday season was shear Hell. Locals had a derogatory name for visitors, "grockles'.
My friend lived there and I had planned to stay there if I came, but well :(.
Thailand is still open, but you do have to quarantine again now :(
Quick question: did you have to worry about security out of the hotel? With respect to yourself and your belongings.

Saw many ride on road bike on strava...yet to upload the videos correct
We don't film every ride, but more videos are coming. YT videos are usually posted 3 weeks after filming.
How fast is the internet?
are you riding a bromton or a bromton knockoff?
Wow that wall of tools
I was curious about that myself lol
tall people ride 56? I'm 60 or 61 am I giant?
This place awesome but not perfect. it's just need a fish pond :)
Our place now has one LOL. Thuong likes to work nearby it sometimes.
Great resource for cycle touring ... PS. Don't take any selfies while standing under elephants!
Wow!! Everything is so cheap over there. Imagine $300 plus for one month here in the US is only for one day 😩
Well it is relative to the local salary, but it's really good if you have external income or are retired.
Chiangmai is a nice town, but because it is in a valley you will get some bad air pollution once the farmers start to burn the fields
Not looking forward to the burning season
@@TwoWheelCruise when is the burning season?
My bike not in my room? I can't sleep. This hotel not for me
Xanadu,
renting is cheaper than bringing my own bike
hope you don't leave your bikes next to the rentals 🤣🤣🤣
We're gonna have to make ours more unique haha

Good enough for 1 person, but yeah we would want a bigger table/bed. We actually prefer showers compared to bath tubs though.
