Great to see you back in the saddle. Isn't it great to spend a day in the Aussie bush on a bike. I love your "take it at your own pace" attitude. Some people forget that enduro means make it to the end, not go like hell and destroy yourself and your bike in the first couple of hours. Thank you so much for sharing, and putting in the extra hours to make this video. Love your work and your calm approach.😃🙋🏻
Thank you for the kind words Cathy! Don't be misled about my speed - slow is the only speed I'm capable of! 🤣 You are 100% correct about pacing yourself during an event. Every single race I go to I see someone injure themself early, or damage their bike which results in a DNF.
@@muppets_inc I'm an old fart starting the dirt bike journey - not sure I will ever get to "'hard enduro good'' but I have registered for my first event in Sept. I've enjoyed watching your journey and development and I have to say I do try and copying some of your techniques. Thanks for the encouragement to give it a go. How good are dirt bikes 🙂
Agree wholeheartedly about the increasing costs. I've given up racing all together. Just bush (sneaky hard enduro trails) and Adventure riding now. The collapse of AMA didn't help. Looks a lot dryer that last years Bonnie Doom. What did it cost this year and did you need a national MA licence? Keep the vids coming.
Entry for this DVMCC race was $160 and requires an MA competition licence, either single day or annual, although I think every race now requires an MA licence now that AMA is gone, as you said. Either way, $160 is much easier to stomach compared to $375. As an added bonus, the local events use MyLaps transponders, so getting race results during and after the event is quick and easy - no waiting weeks!
I'm fairly sure I have a photo of the course - reach out to me via email (the "About" section of my channel), and I'll shoot you a copy of what I have.

Thanks for sharing mate, good 👍 entertainment and good calm vibe.. 👌
Good job Coxy making it look easy!
Thank you sir - it was a pretty nice ride. Not the hardest, but definitely a good one to get back into the swing of things after so long!
Kudos, these sorts of events clearly sort the wheat from the chaff but hats off to anybody who lines up to challenge themselves.
As long as you don't take it too seriously, even the really tough races can be a heap of fun!
Great vid. Glad to see you back. Hope you still film as much hard enduro as you can - love this stuff.
Thanks for the encouragement mate - great to see that you are enjoying the content!
That track looked awesome a little slippery but awesome 👌
Great work, always enjoy your vids. I hope you will continue to post the local events that you attend.
Thank you very much for watching - a bit of encouragement makes the hours of editing all worthwhile! Glad you enjoyed it.

Great video, I've ridden Starglen a few times, you would have a map of the course you did would you?
