During the winter, the forestry agency frolliced through there with their tree felling machines and did one helluva job ripping up the trails as they selectively felled that part of the forest... The club took about 6 months to repair all the damage. They were really upset about it, as you can well imagine. Especially because they had a grant (from the lotto fund if I'm not mistaken) to build the trails there and it was somewhere around 250k down the drain... luckily they managed to gather a heap of volunteers and support and get the place up and running again.
