OP content is surely not good for the general game balance. If I had to look from the bright side though they let revive some of the older bots to showcase and present it to you for entertainment. I performed well thanks to Hiruko and new Rust weapons but that doesn’t mean I recommend this setup to anyone in anyway. Hope you enjoyed close battles!

Those weapons need nerfing for sure, but I hope the Hiruko only gets a "nerf" of making its HP gain mechanic correspond to the power cells used. For example, every 1 power cell = 1k HP gain + 1 stack of 200-per-sec DoT over 5 seconds. Maybe if they manage to monetize the pcells better like that, blunders like these weapons won't happen as often in the future.
If I were to have eternal life, with all sincerity and seriousness I assure you that I will never forget the last minutes of the first game in which you were alone against several of the opposing team and won. Honor those who deserve it. And also the fact that you get to play Rhino as if it were a meta robot.

It was only 3 and it's because he was running meta equipment. He was not coming out of that if it wasn't because of the rust weapons and ochokochi

Even so, not every player does what our friend Aygir did, more than power it was a great demonstration of skill as a player.
@@luisamigomexbeen subscribed to Aygir since 300 subscribers and im kindly telling you that spamming Hiruko and using those new weapons would bring any player the same result as Aygir. Yeah, he is skilled but lets still not forget he wastes insane amounts of power cells to extend his durability every 8 second and charges his mothership quickly to spam Paladin shields
@luisamigomex his gameplay is enjoyable but above average at best. Its mainly meta spam honestly.

Cool to see the Rhino back in action and actually being competitive! The new weapons along with Palladin definitely make the difference.
I used to love running the Rhino back in the day. I used to run the Orkan/Pinata, Taran/Magnum builds. One builds I used to have a lot of success with that wasn't as common was Orkan/Aphids.

2:nd game was awesome 👍🏻 Best guess, could it have been done with any other weapons? Anyway really nice to see old bots do well in battle. There's skill required for that, even with over performing weapons. Perhaps all weapons could perform a bit better on older bots to compensate 🤷♂️
Rhino is so weak that many times it almost died even equipped with hiruko.😢
12:57 Hahaha that's why making phase shift unable to affect beacons as a rule was easily one of Pixonic's most underrated decisions, since it actually deepens the need for strategic thinking. I mean, surely they aren't feeling any temptation to break it in the future just to sell something, so it's ok to call it a "rule", amirite fellas?
Anyways pretty nice gameplay, and although this may be an unpopular view, I think they should not nerf Hiruko beyond, perhaps, making the HP gain of its ability (and the DoT, by extension) proportional to how many power cells you just consumed. I will take harder monetization of power cells, especially with a drone as creative/well-made as Hiruko that can be used on any robot, over the senseless nerfs and redundant OP bots/weapons, any day.

I know Rhino is irrelevant nowadays, but Assault Mode is useful for charging and fleeing, but you need a lot of speed for that.

Nah, there are too many boring but OP plasma/energy weapons around. Better keep the bullet strong and the plasma weak. If you want to improve Rhino, let's start by letting ALL bots unlock 4 module slots, or even 6 now, considering Dagon.
@@thenthtinkerer7635 fair then it's best to make the sheikd completely immune to both bullets and plasma meaning that while it's up the rhino is nearly invulnerable unless splash I mean cmon the new weps are broken and rhino doesn't stand a chance with 2 medium hard points when active so yea it's best to buff sheild in that manner

If these weapons allow a T2 robot like rhino to outperform the entire meta, you know the weapon needs to be nerfed, the rust shouldn't last an entire year to finish and DOT shouldn't be 15 sec long.
