Large Brush Fire Threatens Homes | Jurupa Valley

05.24.2021 | 11:00 AM | JURUPA VALLEY - CalFire Riverside County responded to a fire in the area of Lakeview avenue. When they arrived, the fire was in medium to heavy fuels but the fire quickly gained momentum.
Riverside Fire Department and Corona Fire Department responded to assist. Water dropping helicopters and firefighting aircraft were called in to help battle the flames as the fire quickly grew, threatening nearby homes.

In FL & Southern states they use “tractor-plows” for these fires. Works great!

It moved pretty fast in the evening when the winds picked up we were evacuated for most of the evening

The homeless are always cooking with a fire in the morning under the bridge by the dog park bridge and the van buren bridge has a community cooking with fires in the brush. The homeless do what ever they want in the river bottoms. Especially dedicate in the water and pollute it worse then it was before.

The fire is next door to my house. They got it out this morning around 11. They are still there keeping an eye on the area though.
