Ghanaian music industry is on track to continue to be successful within their boarders with the Play 100% Ghana initiative. There will be less pressure and no avenues on their homegrown artists to go global and no incentives for other countries to collaborate because they will not play “Foreign” music. Investors won’t come in because they will not get their returns on their investments because the market in Ghana is only really Accra and Kumasi. The stage is set for their music industry to resemble their current Movie industry. Similar insular policies are being applied to both industries. Just expect the same results and at least their will no more talk and aspirations of filling the O2 and Grammys nominations.
Making sweet music is more important than any PR. A good product sells itself
