I remember spending countless days trying to learn and recite this song. Approximately 4 years later and this song has stuck to my brain like glue! Ah the nostalgia of 11 year old me.
It's not her crush. In the lyrics it says 'master' or the user. It's a commentary on when vocaloid was first becoming popular and the users would often use vocaloid for just covers other than creating their own songs. The song is about how Miku was afraid that she'd fade away as 'just a toy' and how her master would subsequently delete her. I remember it too. Those were really awkward times. Most people didn't quite know what to do with vocaloid at first, and it shows in the songs.

It's a commentary on when vocaloid was first becoming popular and the users would often use vocaloid for just covers other than creating their own songs. The song is about how Miku was afraid that she'd fade away as 'just a toy' and how her master would subsequently delete her.
I remember it too. Those were really awkward times. Most people didn't quite know what to do with vocaloid at first, and it shows in the songs.
