I recently decided to begin increasing my CD collection, and am fortunate to have been a teenager throughout the 80s decade. Great channel, super info and mega format.. I will be watching, perhaps I should also create a monthly list…. just to put it out there.. Have fun and greetings from Austria.
I wish I had all of the ones that I had back in the 79-83 period when I was actively buying them each month, but my mom saw to their ultimate demise when I left for the USMC, never saw them again 🤣
Love the Triumph and the Iron Maiden 45 and the Maiden program. Pretty cool! Where do you get most of your stuff? BF has a huge collection of metal stuff and always looking for more😵💫
Thanks, Julie! I get most of my stuff from random record stores. The IRON MAIDEN and TRIUMPH 45s came from DEEP GROVE during a visit to Richmond VA. Every once in a while I get things off of Ebay and Amazon.
Only thing new for me is tix to the Sammy Hagar: Best of All Worlds tour. Joe Satriani on guitar covering Sammy era VH tunes. Should be interesting. Rock on! 🤘🤘
Nice, I've seen Sammy with the Circle and I've seen Joe by himself a couple of times, but I've never see Joe with Sammy or as Chickenfoot, that would be nice.
Yngwie is at 33 times. Lol. They just seem to come around more often, but in reality Joe has family here, and Yngwie lives in Miami. For comparison, Buckethead in September will be my 4th time seeing him.
I have over 300 cd's and they are collecting dust because who da knew that vehicles dont come with cd players anymore. So i got suckered into sirus xm. It was good at first and it the same as fm radio just without commercials so im now a you tube premium kinda guy. Now i never have to change the channel.
I was homeless for 16 years so everything I owned was destroyed. Nowadays all you have to do is look up the album and there it is. Much easier and less expensive. Now my library is endless.
Around 2014 had to go away for about 6 months for something stupid and while I was away the house me and my buddies lived in "he was in the hospital " somebody broke in and stole everything we had all our vinyl cds DVDs, so I can understand your loss seems like you're taking it better then I did, whatch gonna do.
Not gonna lie kk's priest is badass.Ripper sounds better when hes not trying to sound like Rob. If you haven't heard Raise your fist by them, give it a listen it will definitely make you wish you had hair again.
I still have my 100’s of CD’s pretty good album collection too, but ever since i bought my first electric guitar i like to buy & sell those. Pretty good at spotting a deal & flipping it. I currently own 7 diff brands of guitars & a bass & acoustic. Love rock instruments.
Rick Nielsen wants your number, Dennis! The one guitar that I wish I still had was an off white Washburn Explorer, I think it was either an 81 or 82, man I loved that guitar.
How about you, pick up anything new for your collection? Vinyl, CDs, DVDs, Books, Magazines... what do you collect?
Saw Accept mid 80s classic lineup then saw Udo mid to late 90s solo tour and he was brilliant.

Cheers, Anthony from DC to Austria! Thanks for the kind words about the channel. Keep Rockin' my friend!

I remember the Hit Parader like it was yesterday.
I had that copy intact for a few years back then.
Thanks, Jeff! I had a lot of them from about 79-83 but non survived 🤣

My older Nissan Pathfinder is the last vehicle in the family that has a CD player 🤣

That’s true, TH-cam is free and it has things I can’t even find on Apple sometimes

@@jaydoubleu3419 I wish I still had all of the ones that I had.
The funny thing is my mom asked me if she could throw them all in the trash
And I said no way
@jaydoubleu3419 LOL, mine didn’t ask 🤣
