bad maths, thought he had enough mana for the big seven drop in his hand played the innervates and the coin realised he only had six mana and conceeded out of embarrassment
JayPG lol yes, but "snatching victory from the jaws of defeat" is the actual saying, the words are just reversed in this case and I was thinking of the yogscast
+Blael Who the hell plays Reno priest? Upgraded hero power does more healing over the course of a game than Reno and you can can have all your doubles.
+Randy Savage (“Macho Man”) : Actually you can still double with Reno. If you plan to use Reno in the late game, it's okay, and you're most likely to do it as a priest (precisely because of hero power). Plus you can also play a Reno Shadowpriest, with shadowform, so you can't heal yourself anymore with hero power.
Orneon Yeah, Reno spriest is cool but I've never seen a standard control priest that highly benefited from Reno. They normally either get bursted to the point where they can't get Reno out or they end up being able to heal so consistently that they actually gain health in the end game. There's a lot of cards that are more beneficial than Reno.
Recently, I played against a Prophet Velen Priest. I was using Dragon Priest, so I tried to push for lethal by stealing his Deathlord with Cabal. He managed to kill that deathlord, and it brought Prophet Velen. I was like "oh shit I lost". Turns out he didn't have the Mind Blasts on his hand, so he kills Cabal with Prophet Velen. Nothing strange, right? After that, he plays Auchenai Soulpriest and used Hero Power to kill my Blackwing Corruptor. Then, he uses Flash Heal to his own Prophet Velen. ...
+Khristian Bolano (Crispoz) One player I played against played Auchenai Soulpriest but instead of using his heropower on my 9-2 core hound (which I had gotten from a mirror entity) he used it on his face...
humudu He has brought shame to his legion. Thus abandoned by friends and family wanders the jungles of Africa alone, looking for an opportunity to return the honor to his country by playing Black Jack with the tigers.
worst ive seen was a shaman coining hero power. I remove the totem. then he plays flametongue totem on a empty board when i can literally take it out with 1 minion in 1 hit
once i played a priest deck , and i had Brann Bronzebeard on board ... looked at my hand and saw an injured blademaster , i played my injured guy and you can do the -4 battle cry math anyway the best thing is my opponent couldn't stand playing with me i guess he coincided right after that move ..
I played against a priest yesterday, I played turn 2 doomsayer on an empty board and he played turn 2 double holy smite on doomsayer and passed. Mistakes were made.
I wouldn't call it the worst play I've ever seen. Well, maybe in a tournament setting, sure, but I would argue Artosis's attempt to execute Sylvanas was worse.
Artosis's play made sense but a slight lack of card knowledge made it a bad play. This one was actually a horrible decision making misplay rather than knowing game mechanics.
its the same thing, not enough card knowledge, he should have known it was snake so attacking into it was terrible and it cost him the game, atleast with artosis mistake it wasn't terrible for him and he still had a chance
Worst play I've seen was when I played Leper Gnome first turn, my opponent was Mage so I thought 'maybe this will force them to coin + ping'. Then they go ahead and coin + arcane explosion. Yes it was between Rank 20-25.
I love when you get halfway through a turn and realize you counted mana wrong and there is no way to recover the play into something good, but then the opponent plays a card that would of totally countered your intended play :) I totally meant to do that :D
Richard Smith well now I understand why so many people make such basic writing mistakes. Because they hate being corrected. Seems obvious now. I'm sorry for trying to help.
***** I couldn't care less. You added nothing to the conversion, just went out of your way to correct some random person. It's pretentious. It's annoying. *Well *mistakes, because
That seemed like a missclick , it's pretty easy to do . This guy has Hunter in his name, he knows the hunter secrets and everyone and their mothers are playing hunter/aggro in China so he knows juggler too.
TheBalefire no he facepalms after he realizes he killed himself. what we see on the board is a few seconds late. if you notice the red arrows appear before he facepalms. also misclicks are hard as fuck to do in HS. I'd say its even less believable to misclick rather than forget what trap it is.
hey Kripp! May I give you a Kripp tip? I see your videos since diablo 3, and I would say 80% of them are seen on my tablets. The end screen, where you link to some of your other videos, works only on desktops. Include the links in the video description for couch media consumers like me :)
I was on 8 health and a druid that had a pyro out had the full combo in his hand. He used force of nature, savage roar, innervate savage roar. He cleared his own board and allowed me to win because I had a mountain giant up.
He obviously misclicked, he reacted immediately once he realised. Saying as he played around snakes for the previous two turns, it wouldn't make sense to deliberately target on a juggle turn.
no misclick was made, he didnt account that the secret might be snakes. He reacted to when the secret activated and realize he screwed up. At that level of professional someone wouldnt make a simple misclick like that
***** he attacked face in a previous turn, that excludes freezing trap, explosive trap, and misdirection. The only remaining traps were snake, which only triggers on attacking minions, and snipe which is an extremely uncommon secret to run and wouldn't have changed anything regardless, if it wasn't a misclick then it was an intentional concede, since he tested to check if it was snake in his earlier turns and discovered that it was, it had to be a misclick. I'd say it's more likely for a professional to make a misclick than to make a mistake like forgetting what trap someone had after already checking it beforehand, that's like writing down someone's name and then forgetting it as you write it down and having to ask them again.
soulgamer6 I wouldnt completely count out a misplay. Even though he is a professional HS player, I doubt he's ever been on stage like that before with that much money on the line. He was probably extremely nervous and worrying about dying to some knife juggles or something. It does seem unlikely that he could forget, but it's pretty difficult to misclick in HS. Also you generally faceplam when you made a stupid decision. I feel like he would have looked a lot more angry if it was a misclick.
The worst play I've ever seen was a few minutes ago when I grabbed a fireball and accidentally clicked it over my face and did 6 damage to myself. Yeah. That happened.
Just got back from the doctor, he told me I have cancer because someone picked a magma rager in arena. It's OK though, I just used the promo code "KRIPP" and I got 95% off my chemo treatment
+Duncan Van Ooyen I have a theory that he miss clicked. Even if there was no trap, attacking the knife juggler with the giant would make no sense. Attacking it with the Belcher would have been the stronger option.
+Sander Hansen that's the only explanation really, he was running out of time and when he attacked the rope was almost done, then you look at his reaction afterwards.
Today during the ShiftCon brawl, I was a paladin vs a mage. She had: Crazed Worshipper, Eater of Secrets, Water Elemental And I had: Abomination, Grim Patron (x2), Silver Hand Recruit (x2), and an active Sacred Trial Her HP: 29... My HP: 8 Turn #8. Her turn. Gaara's misplay was going up against 2 druids in a row that use innervate yeti, that play was pretty bad. If only Gaara had a little bit more skill to see that happening so he could forfeit earlier
that probably wasnt a misplay by the chinese guy. like how reynad said, his mouse screwed up and he hunters marked the wrong guy and lost. it's very likely this chinese player meant to atk face with molten but the mouse screwed up and he hit knife juggler
Nikos A Okay, okay. You caught me. No point in trying to hide it any longer. Those hairy arms, them man-titties...I desperately want to have a body like Day9.
I really wish that Kungen would continue to play HS. He has this uncanny ability to drag better players down to his level and beat them. Not to say that he is a bad player, but this trend keeps his games very entertaining. First against RDU with the Leeroy, now this. Trolden should pay this guy to keep on going in HS.^^
Sometimes that's legit though. Your first few dozen games when you're frantically hovering over everything trying to figure out what the fuck just happened don't count.
When I first started playing, I thought the Coin MUST be played on turn 1. ALWAYS. I thought it disappeared once you hit turn 2. So that pressured me into playing zoo decks, and Warlock zoo was my first legit deck. I ALWAYS coined out Flame Imp into Voidwalker or something.
I do that. Its actually not a bad play if you highroll a 1/1 or any of the 4 because if you have totemic power, its ezier to remove 2or3 health minion on the board.
Worst play ive ever seen, sylvanas steals pyromancer on my turn, enemy druid ignoranly plays force of nature savage roar (back when it had charge) and then conceeds
Amateur2CombaT yea, also.. as kripp said if he couldnt kill you last turn, this turn is less likely with 2 more minions for juggler to hit + 1 more hp, also 1 unleash was used already very lightly dunno if it was the 2nd one
NO. the loatheb was the right play. However, literally, the only way for kungen to have won is if the snake trap was activated. not only that, but the juggler had to have hit the face. Basically, all hunterming had to do was hit face, and he would have won. There isn't a single card that hunter can have that could have won kungen the game without it. Even if it was freezing trap, hunterming would have won
people whos seen noxious play in that tournament knows he is the real dennis. krip prob knows this but just did not highlight it because he is fellow streamer
Extramark9 I honestly would like to see a basement dweller do better than anyone of the players at the tourney, sure you can talk shit all day long while mommy makes you food and comforts you when someone says something mean to you, but at the end of the day, no one cares what you say, no one even recognizes your existence. Im not saying that because I support nox, which I do, but just the fact that you are a screen warrior is enough to know that one day, I'll be paying someone like you to clean my shoes for me.
Do you mean "On The Hunt" a 1 mana *hunter* spell that was released on whispers of the old gods that deals 1 damage and summons a *mastiff* . The spell that the warlock has is "Mortal Coil" Which deals 1 damage and if it kills the target *minion* it draws a card. You can elicit from the text that it can only target minions therefore the warlock didnt have lethal. I hope this clears things up :D
IgotDis14 true dat. I enjoy the new tavern brawl. Those 10 instant mana plays are fun ^^ I find Priests to be most effective. I had 2 of the 10mana cost mind controll cards in the deck, got 1 of them on the start of 3 out of 4 plays with the priest :p Warrior is also nice, if you go with chargers, lower costs, and the damage cards from the class. You'll beef up your armor, while on the same time remove the other guy and his minions. Atleast what I've seen from the plays. hope Kripparrian Makes a new brawl video on this one :)
he facepalmed after he realized that the trap was snakes. he facepalms again when he realizes that the juggle to the face killed him so its probably a misplay.
"In DoTA.. we can't beat China. In LoL.. we can't beat China. In Hearthstone... in Hearthstone we play around kill command." shit was hilarious.
***** His apathy goes very well with his sarcastic remarks, I wish he casted more games with Kripp at WCA.
The depressing irony after the tournament though is that in Hearthstone, we also can't beat China.
Korea is the best in League ;) - random dota 2 player
***** I think he's pretty great, yeah he can be a cry-baby but even that's entertaining
Ya Reynaldo is a bawz ^^
Tried to coin out a mountain giant
I am not a smart man....
who didnt.. :D
same lmao
who didn't :D
who didn't. :D
I faced an opponent on Rank 20 once who played Corruption on my Doomsayer. I fell off my chair laughing when I saw that.
BeFoRe You're implying Rank 20 means anything. It doesn't.
A1phaz0ne You're implying Rank means anything
Paul M I don't think it's really hard to learn to play one deck.
Learning how to play against other decks though, that takes time.
A1phaz0ne It means the dude that played Corruption on a Doomsayer actually won some games.
rank 20 is basically the lowest rank possible
Ever made a play so bad that you conceded out of shame?
I think he did one time on one of the Arena Fail Compilation
+The morning star Sure did.
+The morning star When I first started playing the game I accidentally soul fired my own face. That uh. That one ended with a shame concede.
+The morning star Pretty much every time I make an obvious misplay
+The morning star Fireball'd myself on accident, while I had board control too. It was terrible and hilarious.
still can't beat turn 1 coin dark bomb to the face
***** hehe
still cant beat turn 1 mage heropower face :/
+lee yong kang easily. Turn 1 Priest hero power self
+Алексей Салихов Turn one coin concede : o
+Gonzalo Ayala Ibarre That escalated too quickly. I anticipated something like turn 1 coin dark bomb self
Prep coin concede
Worst play I've seen so far: Turn 1 ==> Innervate, coin, swipe face
+die Blaue Bedrohung I saw a guy do: Coin -> Innervate -> Innervate -> Pass -> Concede
Ehri that's rather troll or rage cuz of bad hand, not badness^^
+die Blaue Bedrohung how is double innervate a bad hand?
Saktor2 welp, since he conceded, what do I know xD maybe he didn't like it
bad maths, thought he had enough mana for the big seven drop in his hand played the innervates and the coin realised he only had six mana and conceeded out of embarrassment
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
+TheGurkin Yogscast?
+Shaan Bhalaru You do knw that's an actually saying, right?
JayPG lol yes, but "snatching victory from the jaws of defeat" is the actual saying, the words are just reversed in this case and I was thinking of the yogscast
+Shaan Bhalaru I was pretty sure both versions are actual sayings outside of yogscast
Really? Okay thanks now I know kiddo. But I really don't believe you aha
Worst play I've ever seen was Brann into Injured Blademaster
#guilty
Prophet velen into life tap in tavern brawl is one I've seen
Thijs freezing trap and snipe into swashburgler.
I saw a Warlock at 3 HP killing his own shredder and then tapping. The Shredder dropped a Fallen Hero so he killed himself.
This may actually be the funniest comment I've ever read
The worst play i've ever seen = Wild pyromancer + muster for battle.
+Ronie Gerber No no no unleash the hounds is worse.... on an empty board.
Gas, you should probably play the game before you try to act like you know what's going on
Alex Buckland You can't use unleash on an empty board right... I should think before posting.
yea you cant use it on empty board blizzard wont let you use it
yeah yeah I forgot about it when I posted the comment BrokeBack
The worst play I've seen, is Coin. Millhouse. Silence Millhouse.
I saw turn 1 coin and theb end turn
not that bad.
i was 0-1 in arena and the enemy priest coined arcane golem on turn 2 and didnt attack with it (it had charge back then)
That doesn't seem like the worst play
TarZ ever tried to silence a battlecry? Rank 25 strats
Worst play I ever saw? turn one coin mind blast turn two hero power
+Mosa Black i recently played against a druid who, turn 1, moonfired my face in arena.
+Jonas Schnitzler pure gold
+Jonas Schnitzler funniest thing I've read all day
TheGusBus97 i just read it again and again it killed me haha
The face is the place
I once played a Reno Priest. He played Reno while he had Auchenai Soulpriest up. SO fucking funny.

Auchenai Soul priest... I played a guy at rank 22 who flash healed and killed himself. I was really confused
My brother used auchenai +circle to clear board and he used hero power on it, whenever he plays hearthstone i remind him of it.
I don't think anything beats auchenai reno
Auchenai, attack with a Mistress of Pain

Opponent tried to use a coin after I loatheb'd
I was playing mage against a mage. I had a 3-1 mana wyrm on the board. It's his turn. He POLYMORPHS the wyrm and THEN proceeds to ping it.
The fuck?!
Why are you surprised? He ovviously didn't want to sacrifice his fireblast, pfft.
+Typical Weeaboo (LeFenikkusu) He said ping, which can mean the mage heropower.
TheKimpula It's called joke.
Typical Weeaboo But it doesn't make any sense, he used the ping...
Weeaboo Jones I know
FeelsBadMan
Kungens smile at the end, haha.
The worst play i've ever seen = turn 1 inervate + savage roar to face
+Haakon Iversen This. This is the worst play.
Innervate turn one hero power. Coin into animal companion pass on turn 3.
+HIGHSCORE AAA How do you have both innervate and animal companion?
Coin + Hero Power as a Priest? :D
a guy once played millhouse... in the unstable portal tavern brawl
it might be me
Szczerbateq
Did you lose to Antonidas and a dozen fireblasts?
worst ive seen was a shaman coining hero power. I remove the totem. then he plays flametongue totem on a empty board when i can literally take it out with 1 minion in 1 hit

Dennis wasn't terrible, that was in early beta so there's that excuse. This is horrible though.
once i played a priest deck , and i had Brann Bronzebeard on board ... looked at my hand and saw an injured blademaster ,
i played my injured guy and you can do the -4 battle cry math
anyway the best thing is my opponent couldn't stand playing with me i guess he coincided right after that move ..
Won by domminance
conceded*
I played against a priest yesterday, I played turn 2 doomsayer on an empty board and he played turn 2 double holy smite on doomsayer and passed.
Mistakes were made.
worst play i ever saw: Pyromancer coin unleash the hounds. Not kidding.
Wild Yogg-priest plays Yogg with Auchenai in his board. First spell Yogg reveals: Tree of Life. Wasn't exactly a missplay, but I cracked up.
Is that a draw
No, he lost.
I had mage against me who played Yogg after the nerf and first spell he casts naturalize on himself, so I just drew 2 free cards for his 10 mana xD
How to know whether you're good at Hearthstone or not: find the misplay.

Lmao. He had lethal there and he fucked it up knowing what secret he had too. X'D
pushpopLoC909 8+3=11.
Never skip math class.
vikso89 Look at it again...
vikso89 Add 1 to that and then your math skill will show you that you are wrong
maciekx10 Oh I am sorry,I was on my phone, couldn't see his hand very well.
maciekx10 Nope. Mortal coil only targets minions.
Gameplay starts at 1:28 for the people who want to skip the talking :)
skipperino kripperino of 2014?
Okay the pressure watching these guys was too high. I don't want to see more of this
The two kings of salt casted a tournament together? WHERE WAS I
Am I the only one who instantly expected Kungen to be the one misplaying hard when seeing this video?
Top notch video. Reynad is actually pretty entertaining as a caster
Worst play ive ever seen, sylvanas steals pyromancer on my turn, enemy druid ignoranly plays force of nature savage roar (back when it had charge) and then conceeds
the funny thing is he thought for so long about making that bad move
kungens face at the end LOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Lol that's a pretty funny misplay. I love Kungen's face a soon as Loatheb gets played and then a complete 360 after snakes
>professional >hearthstone
He must have thought it was an Ice block LOL, 7:49 His reaction doe
What was he saving two siphon souls for lol
My worst play happened when i first started playing hearthstone. I tried to silence my own minion that had overload, thinking it would cancel it
I bet this is what he was thinking "better kill that juggler so i dont die to unleash the hounds face knife and kill command.... "
how do u play unleash + kill command with Loatheb played previous turn , this was just a fuck up
But that would be 16 mana?
Amateur2CombaT
yea, also.. as kripp said if he couldnt kill you last turn, this turn is less likely with 2 more minions for juggler to hit + 1 more hp, also 1 unleash was used already very lightly dunno if it was the 2nd one
NO. the loatheb was the right play.
Unleash is a spell, it would cost 8 mana. Kill command too.
"... in hearthstone, we play around kill command." - Reynad 2014
worst play so far for me ? just happend recently a guy using hunter used deadly shot on my 1/1 hero power recruit
Remember when Krip played Hearthstone?
people whos seen noxious play in that tournament knows he is the real dennis. krip prob knows this but just did not highlight it because he is fellow streamer
I have to agree. Especially Noxious vs Kitkatz Zoo vs Warrior I believe it was. I don't think I've ever seen that many misplays after another, ever.
***** Mistakes happen. Being over prepared can also be a bad thing. Better luck next time!
***** you suck. don't try to find excuses, just never again play HS in a tournament
Extramark9 Still a better player than you rofl
Extramark9 I honestly would like to see a basement dweller do better than anyone of the players at the tourney, sure you can talk shit all day long while mommy makes you food and comforts you when someone says something mean to you, but at the end of the day, no one cares what you say, no one even recognizes your existence. Im not saying that because I support nox, which I do, but just the fact that you are a screen warrior is enough to know that one day, I'll be paying someone like you to clean my shoes for me.
Hurrah for Sweden!
Reynad and Kripp are actually fucking awesome casting together
I have no idea what's going on here...
He didn't have lethal...but he had it in two turns and he was guaranteed not to die if he didn't activate the snake trap.
Didn't he have lethal with the 8/8 + 3/5Taunt + ....that 1bolt dmg card that summons a misfist???
I had 2 of the 10mana cost mind controll cards in the deck, got 1 of them on the start of 3 out of 4 plays with the priest :p
Warrior is also nice, if you go with chargers, lower costs, and the damage cards from the class. You'll beef up your armor, while on the same time remove the other guy and his minions. Atleast what I've seen from the plays.
hope Kripparrian Makes a new brawl video on this one :)
Given his immediate face-palm reaction, I'd say it was an accidental click rather than an intentional misplay.
he facepalmed after he realized that the trap was snakes. he facepalms again when he realizes that the juggle to the face killed him so its probably a misplay.
Being swedish, Kungen translates to The King.
You could cut that ego with a knife.
Funny as fuck, Reynad at the end got me lolling too.
Fun game, but there shouldnt be a competitive scene, its just not indepth enough, ez game ez life
well you couldnt of avoided the real point more if you wanted to
"In Hearthstone... we play around kill command"
I see Kripp do worse plays every day
I don't know who's worse,
Kungen for not doing double face kill command and steady shotting to win,
or Hunterming for that molten giant play.
Definitely not the worst play ever. I preparation coined once
RIP
Few days ago I played prep on turn 1 hoping for it to discount my van cleef so i get a 6-6 turn 1...I conceded the turn after
worst play?
turn 1 innervate deathlord coin natturalize into opponent deathwing
