I love this deck! I made a similar one in which I also added Queen Azshara though, because sometimes you need more burst and the copied spell at 1 mana cost is really useful
@@meanberryy Against a blood DK almost always because it's a hard match up... (Need also to harry up before he can patchwerk Azshara). However it depends also on RNG, because it happens a lot that my consumed corpses go on attack or health instead of damage. Basically it's a must going for double spell xD it's way more safer!!
An interesting mechanic I'd love to see added for DK to make Rainbow Rune work would be cards that have effects depending on the rune of the previously played card. Like "Battlecry: Depending on the Rune of the last played card gain the following effect. Blood: Gain 5hp, Frost: deal 2 damage, Unholy: Summon a 3/3 with Taunt.".

I've been trying to throw together a DK list that abuses Masked Reveler and the Reborn location to cheese out stuff like Cagehead and Flesh Behemoth. Would love to see your take on it if it interests you at all.
What could be done with Climactic Necrotic Explosion to make it more deterministic? Lowering the mana to 5? Giving the ghouls it summons taunt or rush? I feel like its so conditional that the mana cost doesn't really matter all that much. I tried playing my own deck with it, and while I liked the Corpse spender playstyle, I was disappointed in how many times I could actually use the card.
I think giving the ghouls taunt or rush would help a lot. I've been playing a Renathal/Denathrius rainbow deck and there are many times where I WANT to just use the spell to set up a two turn lethal, but would get killed myself on the backswing. Taunt or rush ghouls would REALLY help with that.
The Undead pool is such a mess. It's like they learned their lesson from the absolute nonsense Naga Mage was managing to pull off before the Siren nerf and, once again, went way too far in trying to correct their mistake of releasing Amalgam of the Deep alongside a very narrow pool of minions in a new type. They slapped the Undead tag on SO MANY THINGS that it's basically as terrible of an idea as summoning or Discovering Demons in Wild in that unless you get a MONUMENTOUS highroll, your best case scenario is "uh... Sure???" and your worst case scenario is something that makes you lose the game, it's so bad. It's honestly ridiculous, really. Thalnos for sure deserved the Undead tag because he's still just playable in some decks, much like Zola, but they slapped it on so many utterly useless minions that people forgot even existed in Wild that it's comical how unplayable random Undead are. Kibler probably should have taken the Mistake and held it for the next Amalgam, it probably would have been a better pool 😂

jack of all runes is "cast CNE with all values at 7+" and you had summon 7 9/10s and deal 8"

@@alastairvanmaren5243 Having the damage hit all enemies like Mage’s Mordresh would also help. The card feels really underpowered.

Personally, I wish CNE did damage to all minions instead. The "deal damage to face" aspect feels way stronger than the rest
