i'm still JUST getting into the Battletech tabletop versions, and one thing I love the most about the community so far is it's overall ingenuity and willingness to pass that along and help each other enjoy the game. Thank you for this, it's really awesome!
To be honest it may need some polishing or cleaning those sockets after printing, maybe some glue or putty. It's depends of print quality and detalization. But overall its really no problem. Just remember to double check the polarity.
hell yeah, love this. I love many of PGI game models, 1000% the Centurian. but some like the maruader need to keep that table top mechanic in the design. would love to see an update to MWO and MW5+ series that adds a look behind function and auto rotating turrets and arms for rear firing.
I guess you are able to create a more advanced and larger mech miniature, with circuits and more details with leds lights, removable and functional. Great work !
Technically neither of the marauders is lore accurate to the description of the MAD. The one with the turret on top is not accurate because the cannon is supposed to be in the right torso as per the description given in the flavor text. And the one with the cannon in the torso obviously doesn't have a turret. A rule me and my group have adopted for the MAD that has it's cannon in the torso is that the turret works like the right arm. So it can't rotate to the left because it's blocked by the cockpit and torso. But it can also just flip. So it only has a narrow blind spot that can be accounted for with torso twist almost every single time.
One of the reasons why some marauder mini's and video game representations don't give the autocannon that 360 mount, is that quirks are OPTIONAL rules. Which means that all players have to agree to use them, or they aren't used. Most people probably aren't going to use them in random pickup games, but maybe when playing some kind of RPG heavy narrative campaign.
That's fuckin' cool. This could also be implemented for torso twisting to help keep track of your firing arc as well, as well as just looking bad ay-uss.
Its just back end of the drill, but any metallic rod will do. Just remember to use rod with flat end and with radius more than the magnet. That will help to install magnet on the same level as socket. I also recommend to drill the hole a little bit deeper than needed, just in case.
So glad to see your sub are starting to blow up some. That trick with the magnets is A Grade Top Tier
Phenomenal, my friend. This version of the Marauder is clearly the best one. PGI looks with the proper CGL turret placement.
Just a tip on pronounciation, the CH is a hard K, so it's spoken as "Meck" ans in "mechanical".
Good for you…

Brilliant! If only all mechs could be magnetized that easily!

Dude, this is top stuff. I love it, make more.
I can't believe how much work must have gone into this video. subbed!

The paint job on the Marauder is just so great, I love it 🥰

maybe offset it to the right a bit, so it's on top of the right torso?
360° Turrets should have been a mech thing from the get go!

Incredible work, good sir.
A flush mount right torso mount that locks onto the mech would also be cool as down grade builds would be common during the succession wars.
Will you show some combat vehicles in a coming video?
OOH Sweet modifications dude! is there anywhere I can download this modified version and its turrets for my own use?
Oh that's great!

this seems more appropriate to the Marauder II version
Nice work!
Iz gud metsch 😎
Ok im done teasing. This is a good video, and i subscribed! Nice miniature too 👍
What tool do you use to add the magnet?
This is exactly, what I look for.
Please help!
