- Today we headed into the old walled city of Lahore, Pakistan!
We started the day with a delicious halwa puri which the shop owner gave us as a gift.
After that we tried to explore the narrow streets but straight away got invited in for some kashmiri tea with locals who again would not let us pay!
We then wandered around Lahore's super busy streets, checked out the beautiful wazeer khan & badshahi mosques all while meeting some of the friendliest people going.
Lahore is a top city 🇵🇰

Hi You just missed an interesting site just next to entrance door ( Dehli Gate) on your left " Shahi Hammam" Royal Bath from mughal times. It had hot and cold bath chambers and sauna as well. the building structure is beautifully conserved and could be an interesting tour.

You probably had Kheer (rice pudding with cardamom) that is sometimes mixed with gajrela ( red carrot shredded and cooked in sugar and ghee) and khoya (thickened milk) can be served with nuts and dried fruit .

I wanna add something here that the people you met in Badshahi masjid they were not from Lahore. Being as foreigner you showed respect to our religion but they did't. Wish you a very happy and safe stay in my country.
I'm intrigued now and want to go. I live in Udon Thani and have travelled India and Kashmir. The hospitality is the same in Kashmir..you can't get by without drinking tea. Great videos 👏🙏

Seeing every other foreigner visiting Pakistan and showing around the narrow shopping street to the world out there makes me think that I need to too start a TH-cam channel and record these streets and post it up. I can show you guys what foreigners cannot 😅🙏
We just show what we like to do. We have no interest in modern things or wide streets and brands! Anywhere in the world 🙏
The thing is, locals seldom record their surroundings despite the fact that almost everyone carrys cellphone with good quality Camera. We need visitors to show us our own countries!!
@@johnutube5651 I've lived in Lahore for 40 years and have never even once visited the Wazir Khan mosque and other surrounding areas. Badshahi mosque - just once decades ago. These visitors really experience Lahore in a way which many Lahoris have themselves never experienced!
@@aalesyed I can understand. I have lived in India first half of my life, passed just two kilometres closer to Tajmahal several times and could see the monument partially from the train. Never thought of getting down to visit the place. LOL

Hi Ellis bro, watched your video first time today very impressive, u dont now how long your in pakistan but i recommend you should check out Azad kashmir, from mirpur, and especially a little town called Dadyal in azad kashmir. Dadyal you'll meet or bumo into alot of Asian brits, and you'll like it, majority of people or should i say the first people to immigrate to england were people from azad kashmir, especially from Dadyal sides, im from a village not far from Dadyal, and live in Birmingham UK.. Check it out if you can. Good luck to you on your voyage of discovery in pakistan.. 👍🙏.

Compared to pakistan it is more expensive cause Indian ruppe is almost 3x the pakistani ruppe. 50 indian ruppe equals to 170 Pkr.

@@EllisWR these areas are so far but naturally beautiful,so if you have long stay in Pakistan then goo, otherwise you visit Gilgat baltistan,KPK area's,skardu,chitral,swat,naran, because these area's have airport you go by air from Lahore airport, Karachi or Islamabad.

well the selfi crazy people of my country anyways well someday some Govt. will clean up that part of the city but for that happen the locals needs to corporate whenever i vsist old city i see garbage with open drainage the city needs serious uplifting but for that locals have to take initiaties, unfortunately i do not see even locals are interested anyways a clean old city will attract even locals to visit and enjoy the food there
