Same here! The sight of all those young muscular bodies crammed onto the dance floor with pounding music... ugh. It would make me dizzy. Too overwhelming, loud, and just plain gaudy. I much prefer the bars in Tokyo and Seoul which tend to be smaller and more social. I'm talking about the gay bars outside of the tourist areas where the clientele are 99 percent local working class men. Trust me, it's worth it!

I went to DJ Station but I was so tired from travel and sightseeing that I didn't stay long. That was the extent of my Bangkok gay experience. But I completely loved Bangkok. I'd go back. Possibly try to party a little more next time. Well, I just earlier watched a video of you catching a bus to the Cambodia border and so that's my guess. I took a 12 hour train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Maybe you went to Hua Hin Beach.
My guess was Chiangmai or Chiangrai, or maybe Rangoon

I absolutely could not stand the heat in Bangkok. I was dieing! And couldn’t find the gay area so I bolted. Ended up in Krabi which was more like what I needed!
11 hrs bus ride; has to be Malaysia, Penang or Kuala Lumpur range. Have fun Dear

Thanks, Dayana. Sorry for the late response! I've done a couple of remote jobs. For you, I'd suggest starting to work on skills you can apply to a remote job: writing, copywriting, translating, etc. Don't quit your day job until you have that skill set and you find a project you will be dedicated to working on. It's not easy to start your own work remotely. You'll need to have time and passion. And savings will get you by those initial months or even years. That's why a lot of digital nomads start in a cheap country, like Thailand. I'd recommend the Location Indie podcast for more tips and inspiration. Good luck!
