TMC RTS-06 CNG #705 (Ex-Command Bus #4929) was retired shortly after it was taken off by the MTA. Some of these buses were nicknamed, "The Pigeons". Why? Well, just listen...LOL! Enjoy!
@@dmcr9525 yes you're right but three are some of the command bus line at the Spring Creek bus depot only two rts at their in the back of the depot i see two of them last week
I love that TMC RTS CNG it's the first CNG than Orion 5 cause again it signify the use of the commons L10G engine. The first Orion 5 signify to use of the commens L10G engine. Then they were all later signify use of the Detroit Diesel series 50G engine. RTS were all sent to Jackie Gleason depot before later sent to Spring Creek Depot AKA Command Bus Company. Orion 5 only stayed at Jackie Gleason depot until they're retired.
OH HELL YEAH!!! I approve of this. Shame that not many of them were ordered.
They need to bring em back
OH NO YOU DID NOT PUT THAT UP HERE!!!! THAT SLIP INTO 4TH FINISHED MY ASS OFF!!!!! You The man son!!!!
Long live, the RTS!
This is still at spring creek depot but the cng tank is expired and i think something is wrong with the transmisson
As of January 2018, it can now be confirmed that same bus is now at Eastchester, awaiting scrapping.

@jrosscsu06 Thanks! Mr. Barsky was the one with the clip!
Triboro's RTS CNGs were louder.
@AdmiralArcher Glad you enjoyed it. Thank Mr. Barsky for the clip. He recorded it.
Cummins L10G Engine, ZF Ecomat 5HP-500 is that what the TMC RTS 06 CNG buses sounds like? Because I learned this from Vulnerable Toyota.
This is actually an Inline 6 engine..not a V6. Same for the ISL, ISL-G, ISC, ISM, etc. DD50 is an Inline 4
@Jovan9603 Thank Mr. Barsky. He recorded it. Yes, it does sound good though.
@nycgridlock Glad you like it!
It's too bad they're all retired, with the exception of Command# 4904 of course.

I never seen a rts bus with a fuel tank on top of it
Now that's my V6. Is that the Cummins engine? I wish it were a 4spdr like No. 9146.
More like MCI Classics OR RTS diesels.
