  • Hello and welcome, in this video I bought a brand new rooster. Raymond the Rhode Island Red. He is the biggest chicken on the farm, yet Greg the OG rooster is still the king of the roost.
I got Raymond to help fertilise all the chicken eggs, we have been getting. Lately some of eggs have been infertile which is not good when your hatching or selling hatching eggs. This video will also give a quick rundown on how to introduce roosters to each other

Haha he is a massive rooster, but he’s amazingly timid and nice. Unlike Greg, he won’t attack you, he’s almost like a dog, follows me around, except doesn’t like me patting him😂

I love the subtitles…ya got him at a restaurant and named him Raven, right? Makes a whole different story! 😂They got along surprisingly smooth, I think I’m always gonna keep my roosters apart. But 3 of mine are bantams(I wanted them to be broody mama hens for my big breeds eggs, all the chicks grew to crow) and wouldn’t do well versus big man.

Ahhh we do don’t talk about the subtitles 😂 I have been meaning to make a follow up video. They do ok together, Greg still won’t let Raymond anywhere near him🤣

Rhode Island Reds are the most competitive and aggressive breed just after the fighting breeds. They contain malay genes...

Isn't ten hens per rooster supposed to be the ideal ratio? I.e, Roosters won't fight too much when they each have around 1o hens

Your camera shakes too much, it's dizzy to watch. Get a tripod, it will improve your video a lot.

My mum’s uncle has about 300 chickens or should I say rooster’s, the reason why I said rooster’s it’s bc he has more rooster’s than hens😂

alright I have answer to your problem separate the roosters give them equal amount of hens each so they don't fight and you have two flocks

The content was good but the camera work and editing have a lot to be desired,. I could not watch it in its entirety.

Your videos resolution really sucks it should be 2160p 60 fps to be really nice by a special camera 📷 like a gopro or something else
