Actually yesterday I bought 2 boxes and while I did not even get a chase I got the rare I was hoping would be in this set, so I guess being a spider-man fan means getting awesome luck.
I pulled a Green Goblin (53a) and Hobgoblin at my pre-release today. My Hobgoblin was broken in the same place as yours but the smoke effect had also popped off. It was a pretty easy fix with superglue.
all 3 people who pulled sr hobgob at my pre release including mine was pulled broke :( easy fix though. That Iron Spider prime.. holy smokes, great piece!
Congrats on the free product and thanks for sharing. That example brick makes me nervous about buying in bulk. 3 SRs (one being a prime) and 1 equipment is hard to swallow for $170 bucks. If there is no chase, you should have gotten at least 1 more SR and every brick should contain at least 2 equipment. Again, thanks for sharing what we can expect!
I'm always happy that WK acknowledge the impact of the channel. Kudos Commander! Good pulls, but still is dificult to have bricks without chase with the new price point now days.

I've noticed that opening boosters from the bottom is easier than trying to open them from the top 👍

You are not guaranteed a chase in a Brick or even a case. Usually a case will get you a chase and a prime but nothing is guaranteed.
