Most people play the slow party from the prelude too quickly and without any powerful or emotional pauses that are small but effective. I am glad to see you make use of such techniques and not just printing out what's on the pages
Watch this prelude and fugue played on piano by S. Richter instead you might prefer it. Personally I listen to harpsichordists to dive into the baroque mood from time to time
Brilliant. This is how the harpsichord can allow Bach to speak to us! It's a language that needs to be spread around the world...
1. 00:17 Prelude
2. 04:47 Fugue
Belder's playing is so perfect.

Belder is so underrated! I'm a huge fan of his recordings of Rameau and Duphly
And scarlatti!
Where is Belder rated?
You bless us with such exquisite recordings. Deepest thanks.
Thank you, Netherlands Bach Society! As always, you're spoiling us with a fantastic performance! What a lovely prelude!
Nunca había tenido la oportunidad de ver a Belder tocando, se observa tan tranquilo y seguro, ese clavecin también es precioso. Un muy buen video. 👍
Precioso, y precioso instrumento. Bach siempre tan inmenso🎶🎵🎶
Wonderful playing.
My absolute favorite prelude from WTC one or two.
Mine too
太好了,我没有想过原来bach作品可以弹得如此rubato,值得学习!
Perfect, bravo!

@@jonathanlamarre3579 Thanks for noticing, it has been corrected!
@@bach Thank you very much! I love your work 🥰
what an Harpsichord! Elena Felipe is a real genius...
The prelude is a prelude and fugue itself.
Thanks! ✊
So fine!

This is so fake! the keys move alone!
Seriously now, everything is perfect in this video.
Absentee playing! So totally rigged!
Not only that, it sounds the same whether you are listening from inside or outside!
In welke stemming staat het klavecimbel?
Haha, that’s quite a G flat at 4:21!
weird to think this was 6 years ago lol
God help me but the harpsichord really jangles my nerves!

Sir Thomas Beecham said it sounded like two skeletons copulating on a tin roof in a thunderstorm.
Ужасен)
Ooooh I hate this version! Too fast...too much embellishment...you going to a fire!
Actually its pretty good❤
