My husband and son loved it. I got recipe ftom our grandma years ago. I just made it first-time. I mixed cream cheese in with the whip topping. That was in her recipe. They said its the best cake ive made. So easy. We eat it same day while its warm. Lol

I have made this cake several times since 2007 when I first got the recipe. I always put the cool whip on first then the butterfingers as a topping then I drizzle some either Carmel or chocolate syrup on top as well.
I love you all very much. Thank you for reminding me of this cake.

When I make these for my adult kids birthday, I have to make 2. One for them to carry home and one for the rest of my family
My brothers and sisters and daddy wants some, too!
I made 2 in March for my son's birthday and 2 tonight for my youngest daughter's birthday.
I hope to keep the extra one in the fridge until Easter dinner. We'll see.
