It’s the first time I hear someone putting logical teaching and Bible words together. Thank you, I think I really need this right now. You really sums up what I’m going through and how I’m feeling. How undeserving one feels after not getting that job and the unworthy turmoil going on and on. You really have the calling in this path of yours.
@soccerchick9841Remember that for you to be successful in an interview, the interviewer needs to SEE and BELIEVE that you’re the BEST option for solving THEIR problem. Make sure that you’re super clear about the problem they need YOU to solve. Use the ‘you’ attitude, not the ‘me’ attitude. That’s what they want! Adopt that mindset, and you WILL see a difference. Good luck next time! Be encouraged! 😉
Here's a tip that often worked for me, but unfortunately it did not work for the jobs I really wanted. So....if you need a job bad, and are willing to work at place you'd rather not, and would actually hope you do not get an offer, yet you're willing to give it a try, you will have a much higher chance of getting an offer ! any shyness, or uncertainty will not show during the interview, and you will appear to be a lot more confident ! And sure of yourself !
2:28 3 Lessons from the book “A New Earth” 2:56 Lesson #1: Recognize that who you are is not based on the title of the job you held 6:16 Lesson #2: “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so” William Shakespeare 10:04 Lesson #3: The source of all abundance is not outside of you. It is part of who you are
Linda, as I am watching your video right now, I got a call for a job interview that I never believed I had a chance for but I had applied anyway. I had almost given up with my job hunting as I faced only rejections so far for the last 6 months. I don't ever comment on TH-cam but Thank you very much for this video. Words are really powerful thing! looking forward to the interview!, You keep up the good work.
I watched the confindence, what are your weakness, and a few other of your videos. My qualifications plus your tips I hadca second interview and today I landed the job. I go tomorrow to do hiring papers. I Had to come and give you a thank you. Keep up the good work.
Congrats J.E.! I find Linda's videos very informative and motivational. It's great to see that your implementation of her advice assisted you in landing this new opportunity.
I've had the funny experience of finally landing a job and a month or two later, get contacted by multiple recruiters in regard to other positions. Some of these openings even offered better compensation packages and more interesting responsibilities. Currently I'm in between jobs, and I'm not hearing from recruiters as much.
I'm newly unemployed. I've been crying too. Full of fear at moments. Working on my positive mindset during the process. But I've accepted that this will be a little bit of a bumpy ride.
I have shaken my head a number of times in despair during my current job search; it can be frustrating especially when it feels like all my friends and peers from my school days are all fully employed and doing well. I want to return to that circle ha ha.
Thank you for this video. I have been having some extremely dark thoughts and feeling like there will not be a silver lining, but after watching this video, I've gained some strength to keep trying to be positive. Job hunting can be brutal; the silence and rejection destroys your self-worth...but knowing that your worth is NOT your job or title helps change my perspective.
This video was exactly what I needed to snap out of my "I can't find a job pity party". Lessons two and three really resonated with me and I am going to work on pushing my negative internal dialog OUT and letting the positive dialog IN. I will most likely watch this video again, when I find myself slipping back into the self-doubt abyss. Thank you so much!
Very inspiring. I've been watching this video many times but it syncs into my inner mind this time. The excerpts you read in Eckhart Tolle's book and your explanation of your thoughts opened my mind. I should not entertain the negativity and instead look into the abundance that was already in me. Thank you, Linda.
Thank you so much linda, I literally went from -10 to +2.....its not much but thats was just the video I watch now. I'm going to take this new bold road and get out of this slump I'm in
A very useful and realistic video. I am in a situation that finds me at age 58 (last week!) and looking for a job. your positive and realistic message really helped me.
Hi Linda! Thank you for making these videos. I recently left a very hostile toxic work environment and found your videos while looking for a way to phrase that on interviews without bad mouthing my previous employer. Not only have you helped me with that task but you've taught me other important aspects of the interview process.
I have been watching your videos and I have been telling to myself that you and I we have so much in common I read over 8 years ago NEW EARTH book and watched all of the TV conferences with thousands of people. No wonder you have such a beautiful Aura around you and the amazing confidence you display on your videos is amazing. So excited we have been on the same path. Continue your beautiful work, you are helping many like no other on youtube.
Thug tears over here! I have been unemployed for 2months now but have been feeling great! Truly thankful for everything that I have. I am blessed to have food to cook for my family, clothes on our back, roof over our heads, and my family and friends are safe and happy! But seriously, I need a job lol. And I have been putting in the work; making the changes needed to, at least, be offered an interview. Watching your videos have been helping me tremendously!!! Thank you so much Linda Raynier.
Finding your channel is one of the best thing i have found on internet. Yout videos on self confidence had helped me a lot to get deeper understanding of my self
How to handle the depression that comes out of jobloss? Feeling negative and helpless is a natural involuntary emotion. Any suggestions to overcome such challenges?
Hello Linda, I am a Legal PA returning to work after a large career break. I have found it very helpful to tell my family, friends and people I meet in shops that I am looking for a job. The amount of verbal support I get is awesome - especially from strangers! I tell myself I am worth that fantastic job at Evershed Sutherland and that I know I'll be there very soon. Stay positive job seekers, keep your skills up to date, visualise that job and get passionate about yourself too😈
Thank you Linda, what you said closely resembled my feelings and thoughts, I will rewatch your video over and over again to try and get rid of this negativity that's overwhelming me and making me lose sleep and energy. You are simply amazing...
You're exactly the person I need at this stage of my life. I have older sisters and an amazing wise mother, but you're the only person who I feel truly understood by. Thank you so much Linda

Love this so much. I have come to realize that I believe stressing and worrying help me get what I want. It’s amazing to see why explained here and that others do this as well!
is true, is hard to stay positive if you're looking for job around Sept to Feb. Those months are the fiscal months. So have to be patience and keep staying positive.
it's been 3.5 months since I graduated. Every time I get interviews, I don't hear back from them. I'm so frustrated and plus my family is also bugging me. It's hard to staying positive...
Kind of have been going through this recently. Moved to a new place, wrecked my car, now I have no job (though I search a lot), just everything. Starts to make a person feel ok now its really crappy that I dont even have a job.
I began watching your videos a little too late with an interview I made the mistake of sharing my person problems and why I haven't been working but I do have another interview tomorrow and since I found your video it is going to help me ace it...you are awesome I love your good vibes I need more friends like you in my life thank you for your help :)
Linda thank you so much Tolle I read the power of now but your words brought so much comfort to my heart because I know God has something special for me!
I love my work but I am ready for more responsibility and to learn new things. I keep interviewing and waiting. Thanks for this video to help me to stay positive!
Linda, your videos help me a lot along the way my job hunting journey. Thank you so much! And after suffering so much from the negativity for nearly half a year, I final get some final around interviews. Hope that I can get the offers. 💪🏻
" You know you are putting so much of that pressure on yourself that feeling of unhappiness because you don't have it. The opposite is that you feel any organization that ends up hiring me is going to be able to see me for who I really am instead of coming from this place of desperation that I really need this job." "We are able to create our reality through our thoughts and beliefs and what we are telling ourselves."
WOW! Magnificient, I read what you are saying many times before the way you said is life transforming you have explained feeling abundance the best way possible. Many need to know about this channel it will transform their lives not only in finding a job, but also in their careers. I love each one of your videos they are amazing and like no one else, very unique teaching in a way that allows the reader that everything they are is inside of them whether I positive or negative.
You are an inspiration! I was extremely stress about being stuck in a hostile work environments that the negativity demoralized my performance. Until your video. So much i want to say but let's just start Thank you for these words that feeds the soul.
Hi Ms. Linda! This video really helped me to look for a job. When the world seems to fall apart, I watched this and it enlighten me to look on the bright side and be positive always. I should never give up and lose hope. Thank you so much and keep inspiring people. 😘
this is very beneficial, thank you Linda! This is very much needed, esp during this time (covid)... we need more positivity and belief & faith in ourselves.
I’ve been experiencing this for quite some time now. The frustration of not being able to find work has me exactly in “marinating” mode. Too many disappointments after what I believed were great interviews has me in a real funk. Add to it all of the financial stress, the real reality of possibly losing my home, life and all I’ve worked so hard for is overwhelming sometimes. It really does come down to being at the mercy of another person and their decisions.
Thanks for the great points about staying positive in your job search Linda. I appreciate your sharing from your personal journey and letting us see the things that helped you move the mental needle and ultimately come out on top in your job search. We have all felt the emotional swings in the job search and this video provides practical advice to overcome some of those emotional pitfalls.
This is my idea on how to appear interested when you are going for another interview after the interview for your dream job. See the interview as a chance to get bargain chip. If the non dream job hiring manager asks you for a 2nd round of interview, you can pressure the dream job hiring manager to make the decision faster. If the non dream job hiring manager offer you higher salary, you can use it to bargain for higher salary with your dream job hiring manager.
I have been struggling to get a job for 2 a bit years. I got rsi in my hands and was in so much pain. Had to stop working. I have tried find something where I can afford to live. I have been suffering with anxiety, stress and frustration of not getting anywhere. Getting loads of rejections makes me annoyed and its really hard to stay positive. Going to the job centre and don't really help you. They know there is only part time jobs where you working zero hour contracts.
I just want to say thank you! This book has been an awakening and so relatable. Hadn’t it been for me looking for work wouldn’t have led me to this video! Very grateful 😅
Thank you for posting this presentation. I'm in the middle of watching it and already am feeling better and more optimistic about my job search, which has been daunting and financially taxing (unfortunately my last job, which was a contract gig, didn't run long enough for me to qualify for unemployment benefits in the U.S. state that I live in). Seeing this video reminds me I have plenty of skills, education and industry background to offer any company and do well in a new position.
+Linda Raynier Another great advice and this one is really eye-opening! Following my comment from your other video, this one goes deep-dive below the surface - not defining yourself to a job title. I really find these key lessons valuable. Thank you so much Linda!
Thank you Linda. You are committed and true to your gift! I do appreciate your commitment and dedication. Continue to enjoy your life...continued success
Thankyou for making this video Linda. I am at an early stage of job hunting and have failed an interview primarily because of the parenting gap. I am feeling so depressed. It feels so unfair that women are not allowed to take care of their kids. You either choose your kids or your profession as people wont take you back after a parenting gap. Sorry for the rant but your advice is very much motivating.
HI Linda!!You are just awesome.I started watching your videos again and again because i love that so much.Your tone, gesture, dress, lighting is simply so nice.:):).I am following all your tips in searching the job.I have just attended one interview and it wasn't bad but i forgot the points when i answered two basic technical questions. So i wasnt selected.Next interview is on 1st July and I will share with you the success of it.
The way you explain the mind of professional and give direction and solution to move ahead , It is really very helpful and great support any one can do for professionals ... Thanks Linda. I will be waiting for next videos .I am in same paradox to trying to come out I do not know how you can help me.
This video was everything I needed and more! I am so grateful that I come across one of your videos and am now a faithful subscriber! I feel like I have an abundance and will get more...I enjoyed yet another amazing inspirational video! I feel so inspired and equipped on my job search......Thank you so much!
This is a great video. The way of thought is so powerful. I am unemployed for 2nd time in my life and I know i will get to something better because i am looking to meet someone who values me more other than just the job titles i held. I keep telling myself that so many others are going through this as well but that things will be all ok agaon. Thanks for making this video!
This video does reminds me of who I am. And it's true, I cried watching this because I had this feeling of what am I lacking?when and how should I get a job? And this will help me to have the self esteem, to appreciate of what I have now. And I hope that one day I'll be able to get a job soon.Thank you for this.God Bless!
Hi Linda! This video it was perfect to me because now I'm looking for a new job. Sometimes we feel insecure but I think I will be fine and achieve this goal ! Thank you for your videos!
thank you Linda, you help me boosting my self esteem while holding on to my present job which is very irrelevant to my career however I am hoping to find a job that I love sooner. labyu
I just stumbled across your video and channel and I am soooo grateful for your message and video. I am going to switch my thinking and focus inward and the world around me. Thank you! 🙏🏽
Staying Positive While Looking for a Job // What lesson resonated with you? Let me know in your comments! :)
Linda Raynier this one!!
Lesson 1 definitely! Thank you so much for the video Linda!
it is really hard to stay positive while you have no money to put food on table for your kids :(
This is exactly what I need right now... I am job hunting and it is so exhausting and I am starting to get bad self-esteem :(
Welcome to the club
Sandra Ros rejection is just a redirection
Did you find a job?
I feel like a crap person honestly!!!
Honestly I feel the same way
I am so beyond frustrated with job searching.
Every time, I get a interview I don’t get the job.
Thank you for the video.
Hi, count me in to that as this is my situation right now, really frustrating. anyway this was you a year ago, so how is it going right now?
I'm going through same situation. It's so frustrating.

Definitely! I'm glad you came to this realization. I like to think: "I was born royal" to keep myself aware of my worthiness. You got this
I just had the worst day ever. I’m so happy that I stumbled upon your channel. I hope your tips will help me find a job.

Totally agree with Linda. Energy plays a huge part. Thank you for the awakening.
How to handle the depression that comes out of jobloss? Feeling negative and helpless is a natural involuntary emotion. Any suggestions to overcome such challenges?
Dealing with the same issue, love to connect
Thank you I needed this, I’ve been feeling so down about my job search.
Hello Linda,
I am a Legal PA returning to work after a large career break.
The information that you share helps to change my mindset. It gives me hope! Thank you, Linda. You are a good soul!
I work in healthcare

Thank you so much Linda
Omg I actually have that book and it really helped me during very confusing times in undergrad. I just graduated with my Masters and the job search has been really frustrating. I can 100% agree this book is extremely helpful and I may have to revisit this one.
Love this so much. I have come to realize that I believe stressing and worrying help me get what I want. It’s amazing to see why explained here and that others do this as well!
