It’s the first time I hear someone putting logical teaching and Bible words together. Thank you, I think I really need this right now.
You really sums up what I’m going through and how I’m feeling.
How undeserving one feels after not getting that job and the unworthy turmoil going on and on.
You really have the calling in this path of yours.

@soccerchick9841Remember that for you to be successful in an interview, the interviewer needs to SEE and BELIEVE that you’re the BEST option for solving THEIR problem. Make sure that you’re super clear about the problem they need YOU to solve. Use the ‘you’ attitude, not the ‘me’ attitude. That’s what they want! Adopt that mindset, and you WILL see a difference. Good luck next time! Be encouraged! 😉

Here's a tip that often worked for me, but unfortunately it did not work for the jobs I really wanted. So....if you need a job bad, and are willing to work at place you'd rather not, and would actually hope you do not get an offer, yet you're willing to give it a try, you will have a much higher chance of getting an offer ! any shyness, or uncertainty will not show during the interview, and you will appear to be a lot more confident ! And sure of yourself !

I've had the funny experience of finally landing a job and a month or two later, get contacted by multiple recruiters in regard to other positions. Some of these openings even offered better compensation packages and more interesting responsibilities. Currently I'm in between jobs, and I'm not hearing from recruiters as much.

  • @jay6817
    @jay6817 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Lesson #1:
Recognise that who you are is not based on the title of the job you held.
    You are not your job
The organisation that hires me, will see I'm worth it for who I actually am. Much more than the job.
    Lesson#2:
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
The way we perceive something is how we feel about it.
Be aware it's not productive. Ha an impact on your reality
We are given the right to create our reality. Ie. I think I'm too old, outdated, etc
If I want to shift my reality, then I need to break through this negativity.
Be aware you're telling yourself this. Shift your belief.
Listen to own clear guidance. Not Ego.
    Lesson#3:
The source of all abundance is not outside of you. It is part of who you are.
Starts with you feeling abundant first, then you get more of it.
In return for acknowledging the abundance that you already have.
Abundance only comes to those who already have it.
Both abundancy and scarcity are inner states that manifest as your reality.
LR: If you feel like you don't have a job, you don't have money, you don't have this sense of self-worth, you don't have self-confidence. You're just going to get more of what you feel you don't have, because that's what you're focusing on. You have it in you, and the time to acknowledge what's already in your life, all around you.

  • @felix1185
    @felix1185 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

I really enjoyed the video. I caution some of your viewers to the job scams and useless means of searching for employment. Ideally, you should have a professional connection or colleague that can - get you in! Otherwise, if you’re lucky, great! If not, be prepared to be unemployed for quite some time (6-12 months!) Added, the limited benefits via Unemployment due to the congressional budget cuts (Yes - Congress sets the Unemployment Budget for Benefits and it's been degraded!) Also note, submitting resumes via Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Monster and CareerBuilder - just to name a few, Is good but no guarantee you'll get any response - let alone have your resume viewed at all. I read somewhere in an article posted on LinkedIn, a recruiter may (and I mean MAY), spend 6-10 seconds reviewing your resume. Yup! You're not worth a full minute in most cases, but I digress. Staying positive is key and never giving up is important. There are so, so many jobs available, but the problem boils down to lazy Management Staff, not willing to train anyone. This may not be the case with some Employers, but there are enough that the mismatch is just outstanding. I'd go into the subject of salaries, but I just had lunch and have no intention on tossing it up due to the atrocious lack livable wages in America!

This is my idea on how to appear interested when you are going for another interview after the interview for your dream job.
See the interview as a chance to get bargain chip. If the non dream job hiring manager asks you for a 2nd round of interview, you can pressure the dream job hiring manager to make the decision faster. If the non dream job hiring manager offer you higher salary, you can use it to bargain for higher salary with your dream job hiring manager.

Thank you so much, it's a very uselful and helpful video. My biggest problem is that my job sphere is very tiny in my country and there isn't enough job offers. Also, since I've been sending my cv's for so long I don't get a lot of calls for interviews. The hardest part is that waiting and there is nothing I can do about it exactly, can't I? I'm realy trying to stay confident and high energy, I believe I do good on interviws, so all I need is to get a call. That waiting for new job offers or calls is just killing me.

Hi Linda, thank you for sharing your inspirational advice and motivation for us job seekers who are feeling a little down! What do you do when you rocked an interview to your dream job feeling positive and abundant and getting positive feedback that you're moving along within the interview process, but the company ends up "ghosting" you? After weeks of waiting for an update as advised and following up subsequently without any responses, where's the fine line between remaining hopeful and being persistent or "getting the hint" to move on? I'm continuing my job search but I keep wondering what went wrong and why I've been ghosted. Thanks in advance for your time!

Your videos are great Linda, but I've avoided him for over a decade now.
Hes too culty, or people treat him that way. I know about his books and work, all he seems to do is regurgitate old philosophy, especially eastern (religious though) for Westerners. One of these day I might try to actually go into detail into one of his books

Gotcha, but sometimes, it is so difficult to put yourself in that high state of mind, when there're lots of bills to pay for, etc... That's even more challenging.

Thug tears over here! I have been unemployed for 2months now but have been feeling great! Truly thankful for everything that I have. I am blessed to have food to cook for my family, clothes on our back, roof over our heads, and my family and friends are safe and happy!
But seriously, I need a job lol. And I have been putting in the work; making the changes needed to, at least, be offered an interview.
Watching your videos have been helping me tremendously!!!
Thank you so much Linda Raynier.

Thank you. This is exactly what I needed. I have always been a fan of Ekart Tolle. But the way you explain the theories and use them is refreshing.

Hey Linda any advice for people that only have experience in customer service? Sometimes I feel like I really undersell myself and my work experience when job searching, I'd like to take my career to the next level maybe in account management or customer experience manager. I feel like customer service is so undervalued even though it is extremely crucial to any business. I'm also not college educated so that also affects my confidence.
