TH-cam thumbnails can help you get more views and quickly grow your channel. Your thumbnail is the most important thing on TH-cam besides your video content. Viewers see your thumbnail in search results, suggested videos, and on the TH-cam homepage. Your thumbnail is shown among dozens of other videos, you need to create thumbnails that stand out among the crowd. Viewers will see your thumbnail, read the title, and then decide to click on and watch your video or not. If you create good thumbnails for your TH-cam videos you can double or triple your views by improving your click through rate (CTR).
Learn how to create a custom TH-cam thumbnail and quickly grow your channel. You’ll see in this TH-cam thumbnail tutorial, you can make a thumbnail for your TH-cam videos in a matter of minutes. You can quickly and easily add images, text, and other shapes and icons to your thumbnail with Canva. With Canva Pro you can remove the background from your images within Canva, but if you are using the free version of Canva, we recommend using remove.bg to remove the backgrounds from your images.
We normally use 5 words or less on our TH-cam thumbnails. If you use too much text it will be hard to read. Also, use bold text to make your thumbnail easy to read especially on mobile phones.
For your image, we recommend adding saturation and contrast to make the image stand out especially when viewed on a small screen.
Don’t forget to verify your channel. If you haven’t yet verified your channel you won’t be able to add a custom thumbnail to your TH-cam videos. We show you how to do it in the how to upload a video to TH-cam video above.

Great video! I like your tip on evenly spacing the 3 lines. I always use the group and ungroup feature. When you put text over a box, you can move both together.
