😀😃😁😁. Can't stop laughing towards the end of the video. Pls note the magnetic encoder on the bearing has to face outwards so that the abs sensor can be read off by the control unit. Thanks for sharing
Awesome Job! I would love to see you change the Subframe Bushings on this Vehicle. I have the same design vehicle GL450 (2007) and mine are getting ready. If your relatively close to Long Island NY I could help, Just get back to me. Thank you for the great video!
Hi Tom, Im near Syracuse. Not close but..not too far from long island. Thankfully my subframe bushings are still good on this one so dont have to change them :D Doesnt look too hard though, appears to be like any other subframe cradle. unbolt, drop down, use a C clamp bushing press, if not working or available, torch them then sawzall blade to sever the outer sleeve, knock it inward with a punch.
@@BGGarage Do I have to support the engine or can I just remove the Subframe at the 4 Bushing bolts and it will drop down? I just want to change the 4 bushings. 2 Front and two rear facing on the front Subframe. Thanks for the quick reply!

I have snow here on the ground so maybe in the Spring we could hook up cause I know it's even colder where you are.
Good Morning, Thank you very much Sr. , Have a good day 👌💪👏👏👏👍
How many Miles did you have on the GL when the bearing failed? WTF! They sent the wrong one. Great Video thank you so much. GREAT JOB!
good job! great video! best i was able to find. thanks.
wrong size bearing, usually comes with those Xtra spaces to make up the difference 😅
i saw that you relieved some air from the suspension, does that recalibrate itself on start up / automatic refill through the compressor?
Yes it uses the height sensors to add/release the appropriate amount of air. No user intervention required.
What's the official name of that "Buster" tool?
Ball joint separator IIRC. Was a cheapy off amazon but has held up well. Im just waiting for it to shatter one day
Great video!
Great I just ordered an fcp bearing.... 😮
hopefulyl they updated their website/stock cause i did call to complain about it!
@BGGarage I'll be complaining,
too. I ended up getting the right one from the dealer.
I keep getting clicking noise when driving slow what can it be
Those are usually CV axles
@@BGGarage s*it I can’t believe I have 60k miles on this SUV and any of this stuff is nuts to me how soon it failed.
Thanks
